One of my favourite poke bowl joints, this little hidden gem nestled on the side of a retail condo building. Super tasty and fresh ingredients and the portion size is super reasonable
Check out their daily specials, there's some days where they upgrade you to large size. The place is a tad small With about 5 tables and a sitting bar.

Their spicy salmon is not the what 99.9% of the population would think it is. The spicy salmon is some kind of bibimbap like spicy salmon even though it should be spicy mayo.

I come here quite often and usually order the large bowl. However, I’ve noticed recently that the portion size can be very inconsistent — especially when a skinny girl staff members makes it, the amount is much smaller than usual. It’s honestly quite frustrating because I expect a large bowl to be filling, but lately it hasn’t been.

Used to always go to the Poke Guys Vaughan location (the best Poke Bowl in my opinion) and always had an amazing experience. Unfortunately that location shutdown so I decided to go all the way to Markham hoping for the same experience. Ordered a large customized bowl and Aloha bowl via Ubereats on Oct 9 2025. Sadly this did not meet my expectations at all.
1. Avocado - The discolouration and dark marks indicated that it was old/not fresh. 2. Crab meat slaw - Warm instead of cold and tasted bland/lacked flavour and seemed to be old/not fresh. 3. Classic shoyu salmon - The salmon was mushy and partially cooked... (sashimi is not supposed to be like this) I assume that happened because the rice was not cooled down prior to packing - went in hot straight from the rice cooker. 4. Rice - Uneven proportions and way too much rice overall, for the large customized bowl at least 70% of the bowl was rice but for the Aloha bowl around 50% of the bowl was rice which was alright. Rice was too dry, hard and tasted old/not fresh (like day old rice). Is this supposed to be sushi rice? Because it was not prepared properly, normally rice vinegar is added for sushi rice but it tasted plain. 5. Sauce - Overall bowl was way too dry as there was way too little sauce, for example, the classic shoyu sauce was provided in the smallest sauce container which was only like 30 ML...how is that supposed to be enough for a large bowl? 6. Garnishes - Quantity of garnishes provided were questionable, for example, only 3 pieces of watermelon radish were provided in the large bowl. 7. Pricing - The total order for both bowls costed ~$60. Definitely not worth the price paid as the bowls are mainly just rice.
Just based on other reviews it seems overall quality has gone down and quantity of protein and toppings have diminished significantly only to be replaced by an increase in rice portioning. As there were far too many quality and quantity concerns with the order I received, this is probably one of the worse Poke Bowls I have ever had. Given all of these concerns I will be avoiding this location until these issues are addressed along with other customer concerns.
I may come back again in the future and will change my review if it is any better than my experience today.

—- update: I can’t reply to poke guys comment to my review so writing it here: - your snack size poke poster says unlimited garnishes but when you go in-store, they say its only up to 5 garnishes. I pointed out it contradicts the poster promo and all other poke guys follows the unlimited garnishes too. they still said no - for your large size poke bowls, i noticed i receive less protein this year compared to the previous years
Ordered a large cali bowl through ubereats. The size is huge for sure, it’s massive. But I found the bowl to be just okay, the rice was too hard and didn’t taste so fresh.

Very disappointed in the vegetarian bowl I ordered through Ubereats. It was supposed to come with classic shoyu tofu, avocado, corn, sweet drop peppers, shiitake mushroom slaw & seaweed salad. Only the shoyu tofu got added & the additional toppings I paid for. The rest of the toppings were missing.
