William is very nice
QJD Peking Duck offers an exceptional dining experience, with their signature Peking duck being a true highlight—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. The pricing is reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, offering great value without compromising on taste. Whether you’re a fan of Chinese cuisine or trying Peking duck for the first time, QJD provides a delicious, memorable meal in a comfortable setting.
The only Chinese place that doesn't give me a stomach ache. The duck is to die for. I keep coming back just for it
Very nice dining environment. Pricey, foods quality above average. Staffs are very friendly. Just don’t expect this to be the same level as the one in Beijing if you have been there. But as far as Peking duck goes, this is definitely the best in GTA. 10 times better than the garbage duck at Dayali.
Atmosphere is good.
Others are quite disappointing as a well-known restaurant….
Attended a wedding at QJD today with three full tables—what a fantastic experience! Despite the large crowd, the service was top-notch. Staff were attentive, constantly changing plates and checking in. The manager even rang a gong for a mini ceremony that really brought the energy up.
The red Chinese-style décor was beautiful, and the lobster was huge and delicious. Perfect spot for a celebration!
Had a great dine-in experience at QJD Peking Duck Restaurant in Toronto. The sautéed beef with king mushrooms was tender and flavorful, and the deep-fried dough with sugar was a tasty treat.
What stood out most was the excellent service—staff were friendly and checked in often to make sure everything was good. Highly recommend for both the food and the warm atmosphere!
Quite good.

For a roast duck at this price point, the onions and cucumbers felt too inferior. The green onions felt broken and the cucumbers were of different sizes. You can place the duck on a hollow plate, otherwise the bottom will be soaked in oil until the end of the meal. Extremely greasy. Went for two and the service was average for a bill that included a 16% service charge. And I was never informed that the 16% service charge is mandatory. I didn't know until the bill finally came.

It used to be considered one of the representatives of Chinese food in Toronto. The service is online, but the chef has changed. The dishes (including roast duck) are each oilier than the last. I probably won't come back to eat anything other than roast duck.

The roast duck is delicious, unlike other places where there is a big piece of butter under the skin. I come here almost every week and it is more cost-effective to buy a membership card. Wendy, the service is enthusiastic and diligent, we change the dishes all the time,

Had dinner on Nov 28 (walked in). Food was below average. Service was subpar (we barely saw our waitress). We had to call (raise hand) someone ourselves few times to remove the empty plates / to refill the teapot / to get more napkins. We won't return in the near future. With this price tag and subpar service, there are many better options in this neighborhood.
