Bought Seeni Sambal Bun and Palmyra Sweets at 12:39 pm and received a day or two old food. Very dry. This would be my last visit to this place. Very disappointed. Last time when I visited this place, I noticed someone came back with spoiled sweets and they were offered free samosas in replacement for the sweets. I should have learned the lesson.

Very bad experience at Rasa Thi Restaurant (9909 Markham Rd Unit #11 & #12, Markham, ON). The food I received was not fresh, very oily, dry, and hard. The oil had a terrible smell, and it was clear the food was old. This is a serious food safety issue—serving spoiled or expired food can make people sick.
I had to spend money on medication after eating here. Restaurants should care about customers’ health, not just making money. If this continues, I will report to the Ontario health department.

want to clarify that I did not lie in my review. When I came to your restaurant, I spoke to you directly in person. I even told you to try the food in front of me, and you admitted the problem and threw the food into the garbage right away, saying “I am sorry.”
If you now claim my review is false, that is not acceptable. I work in healthcare and I know the importance of food safety. If this issue continues or if you deny responsibility, I will have no choice but to report it to the Ontario Health Department.
Customers deserve safe, fresh food and honesty from restaurant owners.

Come here if you want your order messed up every time and to wait over an hour for a single item. The food might be good, but the service is completely unacceptable — painfully slow, disorganized, and frustrating. I always leave disappointed, and I will not be coming back.

Bought Mutton briyani with curry. Rice is not cooked. Chilli powder in the Mutton curry is not cooked through and not settled. To top it off its not warm, like do you not think peoplewill eat it right away and the food needs to be warm. This place used to be good and I love supporting little businesses around my community but these people let me down. Dumped my food and them as well.
I did a take out of Mutton kottu rotti today and it was delicious, gravy and taste awesome. Whenever I go to Markham, I get some food from there. Their service and food quality are tremendous. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want Srilankan style food in Markham.

I went today and ordered Chilli Chicken kothu, mutton kothu, dosa, bread,vadai and mutton patty All delicious and front servers are family friendly. We have so many take out places close to our house, but this place is outstanding. Keep up the good work!

I have visited this place today and food quality was not up to the level. We bought string hoppers, mutton rolls and cutlets. This is not the quality that you expect in Srilankan/Indian dishes. E.g spicy and salt. However, there was fungus and bad smell in string hoppers, it may be more than 1 months old as per the smell.
