Their service is very friendly, however the food takes extremely long as it’s practically a one woman show. We waited over 40 minutes for an all day breakfast dish (toast eggs sausage bacon and cut strawberries). The cafe was empty when we arrived late afternoon (1-2pm) and it was not until about 25 minutes in did another two guests sit down. The food was not bad but it was cold / borderline warm. Perhaps this was an off day and/or this cafe is more popular for drinks!

Can't comment on the food, but I've been to Rica Cafe a couple of times now and I liked it. It's tucked away in King Square mall, but it has an outdoor patio facing Markland and 16th avenue. Unfortunately when we came this time the patio wasn't open because it was too windy.
The lady who works here is very kind. She made a decaf coffee fresh for my brother who can't drink caffeine. She was also very patient with us with the menus.
It is a little bit of a tight squeeze in terms of seating, so I can imagine it feeling a little crowded when busy.
Had a birthday lunch here. One ordered the big breakfast, one the salmon toast and I had the curry chicken. While it did take awhile to prepare - there are only two people working in this small café - it was all freshly made and delicious. Topped it off with a shuang pi nai espresso, and their absolutely delicious tarts and it was a lunch to remember.

Boss, are you from the north? Have you ever eaten double skin milk? You have the nerve to sell this thing. As a Cantonese, I feel insulted by your bowl of food. Take it off the shelves quickly and go to a place in Toronto that sells sugar water and have a bowl before going back to sell it.I never been to this place but I got this double skin mike from the supermarket but it’s made by rica cafe. it tastes horrible not even close to what it should be. I couldn’t eat it so I give it to my dog

Run away from this store. The drinks are not fresh. They use tea bags instead of tea leaves. Not worth the price.

Cozy café.Tried their "red cappuccino," a decaf cappuccino. The owners were so friendly and whipped it up in no time, served with a dainty almond cookie. They have a wide assortment of very tasty looking cookies, and allegedly delicious Portuguese tarts.Only a few tables on the inside (they have a patio outside for warmer days), but it's a lovely atmosphere overall ?Sidenote, the personalized napkins; super cute and it shows their attention to detail!

Would say one of the best Milk pudding I tasted in Markham and GTA area. The tarts are always so freshly made. Can always count in to get dim sum when I have the craving. Very unique taste of coffee and South African tea I tried here. Would recommend there Rooibos

We tried the South African coffee, South African tea (caffeine free), double skin milk dessert and shared the South African curry chicken, the Portuguese egg tarts (6 for $10), and patter of assorted dim sum. All were wonderful and tasty. We finished all the egg tarts while they were piping hot. The food came at a leisurely pace, which is great for friends to relax and chat. The wall decorations are handicrafts and very pretty. However, the place is a little cramped with just a few small tables so it may be a challenge for a large group of people.

Came across this café while searching for coffee inside King Square shopping centre. I was going to settle with a regular coffee... but then I noticed Ricoffy coffee on their menu. It was highly recommended by the owner and said a lot of her customers had high praises of the coffee. I tried it and the taste was quite distinctive. Their café offers high tea and a slew of different items on their menu. I may try their high tea the next time I visit, as their pictures look promising and I like the café's decor.

Me and my friend found this nice and quiet café to meet up. Irene, the owner, was very friendly. She recommended us to try the South Afrian coffee. We also tried the desserts. The milk desseert is always my favourite. We enjoyed a nice meal and time there. I recommend this café. I would love to try the South Afrian curry next time too
