The ice cream is not bad,but the attitude of the pink-haired clerk is quite unpleasant. If a customer is not fluent in English and it’s their first time buying, she could be more patient and understanding instead of appearing so impatient.

Tried Ruru Baked for the first time this weekend. Anticipated trying out their ice cream but was left with a bad impression. I don’t recall the server's name but she had pink or purple short hair. From the get-go she had a very standoffish presence and the whole interaction was unpleasant. I just simply came here for an ice cream and was quite excited/happy but her attitude and presence was unfriendly as if she didn’t want to work there let alone help me. No matter how the ice cream is i won’t come back after this experience. This is an ice cream shop and not Loro Piana. I don’t understand nor appreciate the attitude.

Very milky flavour and smooth texture. Delish.

Some of the best ice cream I’ve had. Very inventive flavours! I believe I had a miso butterscotch? My parents even loved it. Might feel a bit pricey, but well worth the solid offerings they’re providing at this establishment.

Most definitely one of the best ice creams in Toronto. We tried the sticky toffee pudding and all I can say is that, this tasted absolutely blissful!

A good little hidden gem inside the Mall. Small space that serves good ice cream, limited flavors, but they're delicious. We'll be back! Not necessarily a sit down dessert spot, worth to try, you won't be disappointed!

Delicious ice cream with a wide variety of unique and interesting flavours. Got the chrysanthemum, vegan chè ba màu and Kinako brown sugar and they were all yummy. Really enjoyed the texture of all the ice creams, the vegan one was just as good as the other two.
Would’ve liked to sample some (such as everything bagel) before buying a full scoop but they do not provide samples. The bowl provided also had a strong cardboard scent (like an egg carton). Great that it was eco-friendly but the smell was not very pleasant.
Dietary restrictions: They have various gluten-free and vegan options.

Every time I go to Ruru, I discover a new favorite flavor. This time, it was Honeycomb Cereal Milk. I think I ascended to heaven for .5 second after my first spoonful - YUMMMMM.

There were very unique flavours and it was so interesting. The ice cream was not too sweet so I really liked it. I wish there were more flavours. They had pints with many flavours. Their cone was tasty too.

My favourite ice cream place in the city!! Love the rotating flavours and so glad I don’t have to the west end of the city to get my fix now
The flavors options were odd and unappealing, we ended up choosing two traditional kind of cheese cake flavors, first bite can have an interesting taste but after 3 more, you don’t wanna keep eating.
