For the past three and a half years, I have always purchased cakes from Saint Germain. Unfortunately, during my recent visit, I was very disappointed with the attitude of the billing staff. While I was trying to place my order, the staff member was extremely rude. For better customer experience and time management, I kindly request that you consider hiring staff who treat customers politely and professionally.

I think this was my third visit to the store. Kind of spaces with varieties of choices to choose from breads, cakes, buns etc. So, today we purposely got something we never tried. Cheese wiener bun, sweet corn bun, shredded dried pork bun, taro bun, activated charcoal cream raisin bread, cheese raisin pumpkin bread, strawberry cheese bun, matcha bun, apple jam cheese pastry , lobster roll with free bisque.
In general buns tasted ok. Surprisingly that matcha buns with red bean paste taste good, green tea taste not over strong but red bean paste should be added a bit more for richer taste. Strawberry cheese bun, is typical strawberry jam, so so. Lobster bun and the bisque cost $19 + tax for a set is overpriced compared to the quality of the taste. Lobster tasted ok, bun is just small ordinary soft light white bun, with tiny pieces of cucumber. Should taste better with some butter on it. The bisque is thick, a bit salty, no good at all. May be with more herbs and creams would be helpful. Sorry, my home lobster bisque tasted much much tasty. So, first time to try also means final time!
Not busy morning, the cashier service is just ordinary, nothing special, yet not really feel warm welcome......
Not really happy to need to pay for the paper bag after spending more than $48....good to always carry recycle bag now.
Not sure if will return for more buns. Ordinary soft buns not really my cup of tea.
Hope the bakers could do more efforts to make better quality and tasty buns, cakes.

I wanted something savoury, so I pick a bun based on the description. After i paid, I realized they have wrong label on the item. The price was higher and the item didn’t match the description.
I did not plan to pay $4.50 for toast with “cheese “ - basically plain toast. I went to the cashier and told her about the wrong label / item I did not want. She basically she said she can’t do nothing. She gave me a free egg tart to brush me off. Another staff stared at me as if I was troublesome.
I wasn’t not happy with the experience I had there. Also , reading some of the bad reviews, I would not buy from here ever again.
This location definitely has a different vibe than the Scarborough location. The overall cleanliness and atmosphere was not as good.

Day old mystery bag for $5. Only 2 items. One is hot dog bum and a small load of bread. They really Rip you off for the last penny.
Best bakery I've ever purchased from. High quality ingredients, delicious pastries, and best of all low sugar.
Be careful of the food you bought, don’t let it overnight, even though they offer no tax for 6 items.

Germain bun
A simple yet delicious sweet bun filled with rich buttery aroma. The top is coated with sugar, and the bun itself is thick, bouncy, and pleasantly chewy. Inside, you’ll find pockets of buttery crumble scattered throughout, so every bite alternates between soft bread and rich butter.
The bun is quite large, and since the flavor profile stays consistent, it can feel a bit heavy toward the end — but overall it’s very satisfying.
Matcha Bun
The bun itself is much lighter and springier, with a very fine and soft texture. It has a deep matcha flavor that isn’t too sweet, making it really enjoyable. Paired with the mildly sweet red bean filling and the chewy mochi, the combination is perfect. Highly recommended!

Don't go there, everyone. Aside from the terrible food, the staff treat you like you owe them money. I wonder if the owner is even aware of this kind of service. Jobs are hard to find these days, and this is the kind of service you get?

I buy 6 buns and they would squeeze 4 buns into 1 paper bag and the hand the rest to me. Is it too much to give one extra small paper bag? I shake my head
A bit pricey but quality of products is good.
