This WAS my fav coffee shop in Markham until it changed ownership. The most unfriendly staff!! And the quality of even brewed coffee is horrible! The smoothie is as thin as skim milk!

Please Second Cup HQ … take back this franchise location from this owner and give it to someone who isn’t KILLING your brand.

Second Cup HQ - send your own reps undercover. This location is CONSISTENTLY bad now.

Oh, and if you mop over my shoes whilst I’m sitting at a table again - you will be buying me new shoes!

Very normal chain coffee shop. Same like McDonald's - no hope mean no broken heart. Safe choice coffee place.

If you don't know this area and have no special idea where to go, come here will not make mistake. They very good at being... exactly what you expect.

Staff work hard to make everything taste same every time. Very impressive skill.

The interior is spacious and clean with comfy seating. The staff is friendly and nice. Lots of pastry and snacks to choose from.

Used to love the place, but we had a bad experience today. The new management is not good! The girl who worked this evening is quite rude and mean! The hours of operations on Monday is listed at 9.00pm but they closed the store at 6pm. I was working and mid way through work I was asked to leave. Not happy ! It’s not ok to close three hours prior to the listed time. Also the place has this terrible smell !

I am glad that Chandni is back. As a result, their service has greatly improved. She is a very pleasant person and knows how to make the drinks the way supposed to be made and served at Second Cup. I hope she stays.

new management needs to do better. The debit machines are hardly ever working, and I waste another five minutes tapping the machine again and again, as they always have issues. Secondly, there are usually 1-2 workers during rush hours, so you have to wait even longer. Not sure why they dont care about improving their service.

Bad,bad,bad… that’s it.

This place is no more living up to the experiences that it used to provide in past. Fresh cappuccino was so bad in taste that even any lower tier coffee shop would taste better. Ironically the fresh matcha drink had a hair as well which is the biggest turn off. The chocolate fudge brownie was stale even though it was asked if it is fresh or not. All in all 2 other coffee shops right across the street are any day better than this shop.

Will not be coming back unless they put more care and effort into their service! Service was slow and unfriendly. Bad vibes. Ordered a cappuccino; milk was too hot and too much for the espresso ratio. Inconsistent. This place used to be good, but no longer. Deeply disappointed.
