“My son was craving pork belly, and my Shanghai-born, Shanghai-raised nephew recommended this Shanghai-style restaurant. The food was delicious and truly authentic. The braised pork belly was rich and tender, the stir-fried pork liver was perfectly cooked, and the braised tofu with yellow croaker was silky and flavourful. The bamboo shoot soup cut through the richness nicely, and the Chinese okra with edamame was fresh and light. We also enjoyed the fried lotus root cakes and spring rolls. Of course, we had to try the salted pork with vegetable fried rice. It tasted like home.
The restaurant has classic old-Shanghai decor and the servers were polite and friendly. Highly recommended if you want real Shanghai cuisine.“

“Great, authentic Shanghai cuisine! Savoring a hearty wonton soup paired with meaty Shaomai is the ultimate experience for chilly winter days. The shop is located on the second floor inside heritage town - took me a while to find it, but it’s absolutely worth the effort.“
