The service was disappointing. Food was slow to arrive and tasted average. When paying, staff pressured us for a larger tip and dismissed our honest feedback. Respectful service should include listening to honest opinions, and unfortunately, that was not the case here.

The dim sum is not good. They are bland and huge. If you have dim sum before, just imagine they are double the size. I don't mind they are big, but it just doesn't taste good.

The front desk lady called our number between a series of fast, intelligible Cantonese, and she did not repeat herself. So naturally, we had to wait for a long time before we realized that we missed our number, and ended up having to *remind* the lady that we’re still waiting, to which she responded that she was not aware of our presence in the restaurant and thought we left (we were sitting right in front of her btw….). Once we’re finally seated, we met our waiter, another lady with a condescending attitude and does not look like she wants to be here. Finally, I attempted to complain to the manager, who came to collect our check, about how we were treated, and he simply turned around and ignored me!
Overall, the service is outrageously poor, and the food mediocre at best. Will not be going to this place nor recommend it anytime soon.

A very mixed experience. This restaurant has a great location next to Costco, but I cannot recommend it for dim sum.

The Dim Sum:

Portion Size: Extremely large. Be warned: one order is enough for 2-3 people per piece.

Taste: Unfortunately, they had almost no flavor. Very bland and disappointing.

Recommendation: I would not recommend them. If you do try them, order very sparingly.

The Noodles:

These were good! Small plates with good flavor. This is the only item I'd recommend.

Service: Was just mediocre. Nothing noteworthy.

Overall: We had way too many leftovers because of the unexpected size. Come for the noodles, skip the dim sum.

Update on Aug 23 2025

About 2 years ago, I had a really good experience at this restaurant for Yum Cha with my family, from which I left a 5-star review.

However, the most recent experience was terrible.

We ordered take-out as we always did on a weekend.

The BBQ suckling pig had been an all-time favorite dish among my family. Although it’s kinda pricy, we ordered it almost every single time.

This time it was a total mess-up.

The skin of the pig is chewy, instead of crispy. And pork meat part had a sitting-in-the-fridge-for-too-long smell.

Although we don’t know how long the BBQ pig had been left in the restaurant’s fridge, and how it’s warmed up, placed in the aluminum foil container, packed and sold to us.

We know that it tasted terrible.

For a restaurant like Skyview Fusion, a restaurant with all the table with table cloth, this shall not happen.

I feel that they just sold their leftover food to us, and charged us:

$53.80 CAD + tax

I would recommend you to take a bite of every single dish for your take-out, if you want to order food from here.

Very disappointed and feel being bullied.

One dish that I would highly recommend is their char siu - tender and cooked to perfection. They are known for this dish and every table you walk by will have it. I’m not a huge fan of char siu however after eating their style, it left me craving more. That with a bowl of white rice is just perfection. Their others dishes were good - nothing to complain about but their char siu is just on another level.

Hands down the best restaurant in town! Fresh ingredients and tasty food. Dim Sum is a good option to taste test. Dinner is more pricey, but they give dessert on the house. Our favourite time to go is 11am (you can order dim sum and from the dinner menu - but be prepared to wait as there is always a long line).

Advantage is that Costco is nearby.

We arrived at 11 am for our reservation and didn’t sit till close to 11:45. It was a bit ridiculous and then when we finished eating was asked to leave so they can clear out (there were still 20 tables there). It felt rushed.

The food was reasonable quality- we had a variety of items. They forget our ordered dish of stir fried vegetables but we just didn’t bother to ask them (and made sure it wasn’t on our bill

Parking shared with Costco so it’s insane.

Excellent dim sum and roasted pork, roasted duck, etc. Prompt and attentive service. Not a very large restaurant, but, like all other Chinese restaurant, noisy. Can't help it! Ha! Ha!
