Got an XL Hawaiian pizza and it was very good with a lot of toppings and pineapples. Would definitely order again!

A standalone, non-franchised pizza shop.

The pizzas are quite unique. You won't see combination toppings like these at other places.

Most of the other reviews I've read criticize the pricing and reluctantly I would have to agree. Great quality pies with lots of toppings but no other pizza place out there is charging almost $50 for one XL pie.

5 star pizza but 2 star pricing which brings my overall rating down to 4 stars.

Will obviously return but this place is more for special occasions or potlucks imo.

Got the Chipotle Beef Pizza. Amazing flavour and such great toppings. They give you garlic sauces and hot sauces included. The medium pizza is quite sufficient for 2-3 people. They have 2 sizes, Medium and XL.

Pizza was average, it was 50 bucks for an XL, too pricey for a pizza. I can get a same one for half the price elsewhere..

Slice of Fire used to be our special treat pizza as the prices are higher than the other pizza places in the area. We have been customers since before the pandemic. We watched it change from having dine-in seating to just the takeout window. It used to be worth the higher prices because the dough and toppings were so good, but my most recent visit on June 22 left me very disappointed. The crust was thinner and drier, and the dough was bland. That was the worst part. We used to be able to eat the slices - crust and all, without using the dipping sauce because it was so tasty. This time, I found I had to even dip the slices with toppings.
The staff who took my call and at pickup was polite and friendly, but don't think I'll be ordering again with the direction the food has gone 😕.

I’ve been looking for quality pizza in Markham so I tried the New Yorker for delivery. First thoughts: the pizza is pretty darn delicious. It’s hard to group this into a style, but it has a well crisped mostly thin crust and a flavourful, mild-moderately developed dough. The toppings are well seasoned and balanced. The amount of cheese is appropriate for the pie.

My only quip was that I felt like my pizza was underdone by a minute or so, particularly where the crust was a bit thicker near the edges. A few parts of the pie had this unruly thick dense dough under the toppings. I ended up with a couple mouthfuls of undercooked dough on a couple slices. Hopefully this was just a fluke, and definitely willing to give them another chance based off how great everything else was.

Pizza was a solid 6.9 , parking can be a hassle on the stretch it's located on.

Insane prices for a pizza, don’t even serve slices

The staff was kind and accommodating as I called almost every pizza place in the city to help me make a custom pizza for my birthday. The process was easy, quick, and the pizza deliciously a hit!

I would definitely come back here for any pizza party needs or even just a slice because wow was that pizza good 🤤
