It's apparently going to become an Indian restaurant.A broad menu, consistent quality and reasonable prices were the hallmarks of this favourite place. My heart aches and now I don't where I will find such quality! I don't know what they're thinking of!Well it's 2022 now and Sun-Wed specials are now $14 but that's reasonable.More importantly, we had lost Jennifer for most of the year. Was it coincidence that some of the service and the food qualitydeteriorated markedly over the year?But yay, Jennifer is now back, just in time for Christmas!!Single handedly and cheerfully tending bar and serving the entire restaurant herself. We went there for lunch today as we were in the neighbourhood. Since we arrived at 1pm, we assumed we’d miss the lunch crowd; there were only 4 or 5 tables with people…not busy at all. The waitress took over 5 minutes to even acknowledge us and say that she’d bring the menus. She didn’t come to our table, but passed by us to let another table pay their bill; since we were just beside this table, we hoped she’d bring the menus and even a glass of water…NOTHING! She then went behind the bar twice…still didn’t bring us the menus. When we looked at how slowly she walked, you’d think that she was over 70 years old and not a young woman in her 30s or 40s! I got up and grabbed 2 menus; she still didn’t come over during the next 5 minutes. She then slowly walked over to two more tables with their food. After over 15 minutes of waiting and since she still hadn’t come by our table to serve us, we got up to leave. We walked right past her…did she ask if something was wrong? NO! When I hear complaints from servers about how busy they are and how they aren’t treated well, I think of today’s situation. Absolutely terrible service. Not even a glass of water was brought over and I had to get the menus. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. Feel sorry for the owner or maybe they’re the problem. This woman’s training was pitiful. Don’t go here unless you’re happy with terrible service. The old wood panelling is a throw back to 30 years ago. We went to another restaurant 5 minutes away…GREAT service; friendly; got an amazing lunch and it was reasonably priced.

Not my first visit and won't be my last! We had Easter dinner tonight - had a hard time choosing from the amazing specials of Turkey, had with scalloped potatoes and lamb shank. No regrets - the lamb was flavourful and tender!Our server was fabulous and carring. We were with a family member in a wheelchair and she brought extra napkins and helped us remove a too hot bowl so we didn't have any accidental burn. Chef's kiss.

Place is good. Food is good and has lotsa options. Theyve got these daily specials look out for them. Its surprisingly cheap too, and they have mostly all the drinks on the menu.We love to come here as a family. Food is fresh and good! Great place to bring ur friends and to have drinks n food.

The food was completely overpriced, sloppily thrown together and it took us over 15mins for a waiter to even come and say hello. We ended up ordering to go. My "hot turkey sandwhich" was put on top of my very undercooked fries and consisted of a single slice of white bread, turkey chunks that were longer than the bread and so chewy as to be inedible and the gravy had almost no flavor. My husband's meal wasn't any better. We ended throwing it all out. My "cup of tea" while waiting for our meal didn't even fill up half of the tea cup. Will NEVER stop there again.

Used to get the Thursday burger specials frequently, had them delivered almost every week during the lockdowns, was the highlight of our family's week. Had them regularly before and after 2020. Haven't been in quite a few months due to moving out of Markham, but was in the area and just called to see when the burger list would be updated and was informed they've stopped doing the weekly custom burgers. Very sad, while their menu-list burgers are good, the variety, creativity and various toppings of their Thursday special menu were excellent. Reminds me of the Bob's Burgers episode where Bob gives up on the Burger of the Day :(

Went to this restaurant a while back in December and ordered the meatloaf. Meal was pretty good except the vegetables had grey spots on them? Probably just forgot to scrap it off. Nonetheless it was a good meal for the price. Hard to get ahold of the server as there was a party of over 40 in the restaurant when we dined in. Service was ok, no water refills but I understand it was super busy. Would come again.
