Been hearing about this place for the longest time. I live in Mississauga & work Downtown, so I had to somehow make my way down here for lunch… Finally did, and it did not disappoint.We were greeted by Stacy & she took care of everything, especially when it got real busy for lunch. Precise with her orders. I got the Jerk Chicken lunch special & the infamous Oxtail Stuffed Patty. Let’s start with the lunch special. Perfectly seasoned chicken, flavourful rice & creamy coleslaw. A great deal for lunch !!Now for what we came for. The Oxtail Stuffed Patty. Let me tell you how good this thing is, trust me, it’s worth the wait & a staple for this restaurant.A hot, flaky beef patty, with flavourful, tender Oxtail with gravy (it’s not real if you don’t find a bone or two in there) & coleslaw stuffed inside. Wow. Is all I have to say. Please get it, does not disappoint.One thing though, you have to eat the Stuffed Patty right away as the gravy will make it soggy & you don’t want that. However, it’s still good even if it is soggy. I ate my lunch special first that’s why.Highly recommended place, will definitely be back again, whenever I can. Thanks guys !!

2024 March 3.5★Inside a small plaza with 2 tables for eating in.At time of writing, this is at 4.7★ and 367 reviews. Not sure about other food, but based on the fried chicken and beef patty, it's ok.Beef patty $3Flaky and the filling wasn't bad. Though was a little dry.Fried chicken $4.5Was ok. Meat was a bit dry and just wasn't flavorful inside. Perhaps not marinated enough?

The hype is not real at this place. Came in today with a friend and ordered 2 ox tail stuffed patties and a jerk chick poutine. The woman at the counter said it would be 15 mins for the poutine, no problem.Come to find out that the stuffed patties have now went up in price to $11.99 each which doesnt make it a good deal anymore. Aboue 10 mins later she asked if we wanted the patties first while they finished the poutine, said yes and was handed 2 luke warm patties that I assume were sitting for 10 mins. Bit into it and it had zero flavour. I could have been eating a wet rag and it would have tasted the same.Poutine was next up and we expected it to be great after waiting so long. Got it and we were treated to probably the worst poutine that we have ever had. Soggy half cooked fries, watery "gravy", small traces of shredded cheese and some tasteless chicken on top. Basically a big container of mush.With all the exposure that they have got lately, they need to step up their game. I didnt even mention how confused and disorganized they were, yelling orders and a line of people grumbling about how they were waiting so long and people who came in after got their food first.Overall, not worth the money at all for the food being served. Over priced, over hyped. AVOID.... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

So I came here the other day to see what the buzz was all about with this place due to the high rating.I arrived during the late evening and this place doesn't stand out as it is not well lit including of the sign itself and looking at it makes you think if they were still open and to my surprise they were.When entering this place it was quite, 2 ppl waiting, it had no vibrant hustle and bustle vibe so really rather blah.My partner had the jerk pork and I had jerk chicken along with plantains.The plantains were edible but felt it lacked flavor as they seem to be deep fried in oil. The jerk chicken was nice and had a nice subtle heat to it and cooked through very nicely to the point where the meat fell off the bone very easily. Now it does come with slaw which I'm not a huge fan of and when asked if it can be substituted for something else it was denied but the woman at the counter was polite but didn'toffer to substitute the slaw for something else would cost extra which I would have paid for. They do mix the gravy with the rice which gives it more moisture which is fine by me but I would like to have the gravy just poured over on the top.Overall would I go out of my way to come here again? No, and that's due to another Jamaican place close by that offers a better overall quality in my opinion.To the owners if you are reading this you have more potential here just got to do more work and you will do just fine and have more clients coming in.

For more than a decade I’ve had the same two favorite Jamaican/Caribbean restaurants . Found Stacy’s early January this year and haven’t been back to my other spots since. Can easily say this my new favorite!! Stacy and her staff are all warm, welcoming, kind people. The food they serve is very very authentic. Love this place!
***SAVE YOUR MONEY ***ordered 1 beef patty that was $3, the lady presumably the owner, charged me 34.49! I didn’t keep the receipt went in the next day to explain what happened, and she asked me what time I ordered and ended up telling me she couldn’t find the transaction and didn’t pay me my money back!! I couldn’t stand in line while there is a line up out the door…overall horrible experience and customer service. The person behind the cash is clueless and in waaay over her head, been there 2 times prior to this incident and during peak hours expect to wait 45 minutes plus for your order, that is if it’s not mixed up…as I witnessed several times while waiting for my food how many orders she got wrong and gave people and Uber the wrong order…in that same hour one Uber cancelled the transaction and she realized after she gave the food! Seems like they are busy but the person behind the cash has absolutely no clue what she is doing! Thanks for stealing my money and playing dumb for a lousy 30 bucks*** I did not mistakenly give you a 30 dollar tip for a beef patty, because the machines min. Tip is 10 percent which i selected, doesn’t allow me to enter it manually! I witnessed a lot of order errors and mistakes while waiting for my food, and if you are admitting I paid it the honorable thing to do was pay it back instead of hassling and stalling me for the day/time of the order while a huge line was forming behind me!
