I've come with a big group a few times so this review is not just a one time experience. Overall, the food is pretty good. I like that you can order hot food and desserts at the same place!Now the bad....the service is consistently horrendous. One of the servers (young guy with shorter hair, dark eyebrows and seems to be the "boss"), has been rude to our group every time. From the moment we come, he treats us like an annoyance. He raised his voice at us about the number of people, even though there was plenty of seating. He tried to take a chair away, even after we were all seated. Would not let us split the bill and then the bill came and said tip is NOT included. We tipped 10% and then afterwards, the bill had 18% added and they took another 10% for a total tip of 28%. What a scam. This has been our experience the last 3 times we've gone. The food is also extra slow but I'm not bothered by that, given that we're a bigger group.Beware if you're more than a few people. This place doesn't want your business. I don't expect it will last very long. There are other places to spend your money.

Not worth the visit. Very poor customer service. Almost like a bunch of high school kids trying to run the a business.Waited 30 mins+ for the food to arrive, when asked how much longer the wait would be, the skinny tall waiter responds “Do you see?” (pointing to the other tables that haven’t been served yet).Dessert was sub par. The brick toast lacked any flavour, felt like I was just eating plain stale bread.

Tried this place a couple of times. Both times the popcorn chicken was OK not amazing. Last time we got another main dish and I ended up with terrible stomach pains. This time I ordered the minced pork on rice for my husband and he ended up woth an upset stomach shortly after. I did try a bit of the minced pork and it's nothing like Taiwanese minced pork on rice. The meat was mushy, almost paste like and it was very heavy on the star anise. The kids had popcorn chicken both times and were fine. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is because both times someone got an upset stomach. The atmosphere was decent and thr staff was very nice.

Sugar Marmalade has both hot food and desserts. I ordered the fish and chips. The fries were crispy and the fish was delicious.We ordered the shaved ice and it was delicious as well.

The Best place for desserts specially the Sago with Black sesame ice cream. We have been to a lot of other locations. Everyone of them is always busy. This place is very famous for their dessert. Happy Eating!

The shop is a little dark. The food and drinks are excellent. However, I have rarely ever felt less welcome in a shop before (I cannot speak Mandarin or Canto).

Quite disappointed. We've been here for a few times in the past year, and the quality is getting worse and worse. Heavily watered down milk with sago / black glutinous rice and fruit.I wanna give only 1 star, but 2 stars cuz 10% off for cash payment. Service is just ok.

The dessert is ok, but it is way too expensive compared to others. The reason for the one-star is the service. The waitress seemed to be annoyed when I was ordering. In fact there was not much people in the restaurant at that moment. It was my first time, and definitely would be my last time visiting this restaurant
