Can’t comment much on service and atmosphere since I had to go.
Their omakase to go was def great. Had the two person omakase and they come in a cute styrofoam box.
Fish variety is pretty similar to other omakase. Overall was good just going to point out the two that didn’t taste as well (Mackerel and Ikura) compared to all the other omakase I’ve been to. Besides that it was pretty stellar for a togo experience. Oh and uni and ikura were a bit in the smaller side as well
Parking: Free parking lot in a plaza but may be crowded as there’s a lot of restaurants

Best Omakase in town! The service is outstanding, and the fish is incredibly fresh.
I was lucky to try the seasonal sanma (pacific saury) which was deliciously fatty and flavorful. The mirugai (geoduck clam) also impressed. Also, the sushi rice and soy sauce had definitely improved, matching my taste perfectly. For anyone who loves good food, Sushi Gin is a must-visit for an omakase experience that will leave you more than satisfied. Highly recommended!

Only 3 people to have 8:00 dinner. 35 minutes to finish the whole dinner from appetizer to dessert, in which 15 minutes to finish 10 pieces sushi! Broke my omakesa record!
Since I am the only one to have Toku, the chef only served me. Once I finished 1 sushi, he served me another one immediately, plus the fishes were pre-cut.
I ordered premium sake paring $45. My past experience was fully filled up the glasses. In here, only 75% filled up.
The dessert is a small piece of cake, same as the other Omakesa, no suprise. However, the suprise is the chef put it on my sushi plate, just beside the ginger!!
$120 omakesa + $45 premium sake pairing, I can have the same in another omakesa with better experience.

Exceptional omakase in the GTA! Fresh and quality ingredients, pleasant atmosphere and hospitable service. My friend and I came to celebrate a special occasion and the staffs went above and beyond to make our night even more remarkable. We couldn’t be happier with our dining experience. Thank you Sushi Gin and we would definitely come again!

Celebrated my best friend’s birthday there and the food was amazing! We have been to many omakase restaurants uptown and they serve common fish, but Sushi Gin’s fish were very good quality and unique, like geoduck, puffer fish and saba. Comparable to really good omakases we had in Hong Kong.

The food was the best omakase I have had in Toronto. I have had many omakase in uptown Toronto and in Hong Kong, the food at Sushi Gin was up there with the good ones I had in Hong Kong. They had fish I haven't seen other restaurants serve in Toronto and was very impressed with the freshness. Highly recommend.
Came for lunch and it was good! Fish was fresh and staff was friendly

An omakase that offers you out of season uni is straight up scamming you. The point of omakase is for the expert chef to know what to serve and when it’s best in season. Would not recommend. Uni was straight trash, not worth it at all.
