Went for lunch over the weekend. The service was good.
However, the food quality was quite disappointing. For example, a single chicken wing was split into two and counted as two pieces. The “jumbo” shrimp tempura had very little shrimp inside, which was also underwhelming.
While the cost control is evident for an all-you-can-eat restaurant, which is going above and beyond. It significantly impacts the overall dining experience.

This sushi spot was absolutely breathtaking! We loved the decor and the detailing they put into the restaurant design. The food was also scrumptious and we loved every bite. Especially the sashimi and the hand rolls. The chefs there are experts in the sushi field! Go enjoy them!

Food was okay quality for AYCE. Sashimi is what you would expect from AYCE - subpar quality with bad cuts. The grilled options were pretty good.

Service was slow at the start. Nobody gave us a tablet for 10 mins after we asked repeatedly almost like they were lost so we were just sitting there unable to place our orders.

Atmosphere was fine. Although they should really just have all booths throughout rather than just booths on the side and tables in the middle.

I went there today for my boyfriend’s birthday. Honestly, I was a bit worried after reading reviews mentioning slow service and many unavailable dishes. However, when we visited, the food actually came out pretty quickly at first (it wasn’t peak time).
As it got busier, the service did slow down a bit, and some dishes took around 20 minutes. So I’d recommend going during off-peak hours if you want faster service.

Overall, all the dishes were available and the food quality was about 4/5. The service was okay — not very attentive, but not rude either.
About 1.5 hours after we ordered our first dish, a server came by and asked if we wanted to order anything else. When we said we were done, she took the iPad. It kind of felt like we were being indirectly rushed out haha, but it wasn’t done in a rude way — and we were already full anyway!

Overall, it was a good experience and I would visit again. Also, they kindly kept my small cake in their fridge while we were eating, which I really appreciated :)

Went to go eat after seeing new menu items on Tiktok. Don't waste your time. We came with a table of 8. We ordered 24 salmon sashimi at a time because we are confident we can finish it. 30 mins between each order and one of the employees admitted that they purposely bring less??

If they are going to serve this slow they shouldn't have a time limit. Missing item after item. We might as well call this a crappy omakase (every dish coming out one at a time). The food isn't even good enough for us to come back. With momokoko closing down you would think this is an opportunity for other places to step it up.

I wish we had listened to the multitude of other reviews that say the service is slow. Took over 50 minutes for items for our first order to be delivered to our table. Portions are extremely small so if you order too little you have to wait forever to get more. Food is okay however the sashimi gets warm very fast and becomes inedible. Other places typically serve sashimi on ice but this place does not. There are many other sushi spots throughout richmond hill and Markham, do yourself the favour and go anywhere else.

WOW Kiku Sushi… I absolutely love everything here! There are so many options to choose from. This AYCE spot is perfect for a relaxed meal with friends. The service is amazing, and the food comes out quickly and fresh every time.

I really enjoyed the BBQ section, especially the delicious eel skewer. I highly recommend the cheese scallop and mussel, they are INCREDIBLY tasty. The fried milk was my second favorite, it was also my first time trying it after seeing lots of fried milk recipes on social media! The ramen bowl is cooked neatly, with a big portion of meat slices and veggies (the soup was also super delicious), the black dragon roll and avocado roll were so good that I ate at least four plates by myself. (I usually don’t eat that much but wow that sushi was just incredible)

I loved everything here, and I will definitely come back again. It’s been a month since I visited, and I’m still excited just writing this review. Please come here!!! This restaurant truly deserves five stars!

I was so full that day but if you have a big stomach please just try everything on the menu, nothing will disappoint you, seriously… I am going to move to Markham just to eat Kiku once a month 🫶

Don’t be fooled by the uni promotion. Influencers online like YouTube Lee who posted in the reviews here make it seem like the uni sushi is huge- when in reality, they give you not even enough uni to taste it :(

The service is generally very slow. It takes about 50 minutes for a dish to be served. The waiter urges it more than three times. There is no dining experience at all. All the time is wasted waiting the order is different with menu dose

I personally liked the interior and how I didn't need to wait for a table, even though I didn't do a reservation. Ordering on the iPad was fun but the service was too slow. I understand that there were many people but the orders were weird. All my appetizers came after all my mains but my desserts came in fast. Not bad but not good, however I wouldn't come here again.
