They season their rice perfectly. Sushi is fresh. Even during the end of the day sale , the sushi taste amazing. It taste so much better than so many sushi restaurant I’ve been to. Hands down best food court sushi!

It’s my go-to place in Markville mall. Sushi is always fresh and right amount of sauce gives good balance to the taste of rolls. The portion is good too and I wish I could go here more often!

We ordered the pork tonkotsu and an unagi (eel) maki roll.
The unagi roll was decent, better than some other food courts as I didn’t need the soy sauce for flavour and it was fresh enough. $11.99
The tonkotsu, however, the egg was way overcooked and a huge disappointment. The broth tastes like a chinese broth, not the expected japanese flavours for this dish, at least it wasn’t overly salty. $13.99

This sushi spot has really declined over the years. For mall sushi, it used to be pretty good. For a while now the rice for the sushi has been really soft and almost mushy, which is off-putting. I would suggest holding off on that sushi craving.

Owner is rude and food is not fresh. For the same price, you can get quality sushi from decent restaurant. They also charge $2 for miso soup and extra for gingers. Very greedy!
