Very pleased with my experience here. Food was good and was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Staff was extremely polite and welcoming. Cups were never empty. Prices are reasonable when looking at what you are getting.

The atmosphere and the service at this restaurant is fantastic. The staff were very kind and very knowledgeable about the menu and what they would recommend. The were also very quick with refills my cup never went empty. The food was amazing, the sushi was incredible fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for affordable delicious Japanese food.

food is good for this price. we r surprised that is quiet for a hidden gem. everything we had was fresh and hot. we been here a few times and the lady was nice.

Definitely an underrated spot! The sushi here is always really fresh and the prices are quite affordable (especially in today’s economy). It’s never too loud here either which is also nice.

Ordered S9 Sushi and Sashimi Combo for take-out. The atmosphere and service are ok but the food quality is below my expectation. Most of them ain't fresh enough and I could even tasted a little bit of refrigerator ?

I would definitely recommend this for a nice reasonable price point and decent quality for the red tuna and salmon sashimi. The rice was just right and the staff were great.

Rice no soft. $33 party tray so much worse and less tasty than other competitors. Really bad. Not gonna go ever again. Really really bad. So bad that I’m super angry for my money now.

Fish so thin you could read through it, well, almost. Little taste, had the sushi lunch special. Really, I could not taste much of the flavour. When I asked the sushi chef what his favourite was he said none, I don’t like it. Too smelly. Though it did not smell much, it did not taste like much.

First off, I want to set the tone of this review. I always make it a point to rate a restaurant relative to the type of clientele they’re serving.

This place isn’t where you go for high end fine dining (Though, that’s somewhat self-evident since this isn’t Toronto downtown).

With that out of the way, Sushi Sushi has always served me fresh ingredients, the restaurant is clean, they take proper care and attention into food preparation, and the biggest advantage - very affordable menu, which in this day and age is hard to come by.

If you are craving sushi on a regular basis, and just looking for something quick and appetizing, this restaurant has an excellent value proposition. It also offers discounts on takeout orders with cash payment option.

Perfect for people that work/live in the area that need a nearby “go-to”. Options in Markham north are limited. But, this place delivers - I highly recommend and wish to support businesses like this that offer great value, good service, and generally do an excellent job at keeping customers happy.

Quality of sushi is less than other places nearby. Found 2 bones and a piece of skin in salmon sashimi. Prices are average. Service is friendly.
