The atmosphere was super nice, with calming music playing softly in the background, creating a relaxing and welcoming vibe. The chef was attentive and checked in often to make sure everything was perfect, and my tea was refilled throughout the entire meal. We’re usually not the biggest fans of leaner tuna (akami), but this was hands down the best akami we’ve ever had. As expected, the otoro and uni piece was my favourite! rich and buttery in the best way. My friend’s favourite was the scallop, which was incredibly fresh and sweet. Overall, if you’re looking for a good omakase experience, Sushi Umi is a solid choice.

I had the dinner w my friends last month. The experience was bad. The sushi is so so. Some pieces is spread apart, very disappointed. The chef use the white towel to clean our plate, but he also use the same towel to wipe the other two customers plate who sit beside me. He did this for couple times. OMG... I'm thinking is non sense I thought is the BIG hygiene issues. Well.. overall.. not impressed for the whole night. I won't come back !

I’ve been to Umi twice now, and both times have been incredible. The sushi is always super fresh, and each dish is so thoughtfully put together. The chef really knows what he’s doing, and the staff is always welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed but still feels special. It’s definitely my go-to spot for top-tier sushi, and I’ll be back for sure!

We had an awesome experience here at Sushi umi. We did the dinner omakase for my partner’s birthday and we left the place feeling great. The food was amazing, its taste good and all of the ingredients were super fresh! The service was outstanding, all of the staff are super attentive and nice. Overall it was a great experience, will definitely come back again!

We came with my mother-in-law for her birthday, and the food was delicious. Absolutely melt-in-your-mouth, high-quality fish. Each piece of sushi is prepared in front of you by your own sushi chef for a group of 4. There were 2 couples beside us whose meals were prepared by the same chef.
Each course was made only when all 4 people had eaten the sushi from the current course. If a person stepped away for a moment, the chef would wait until the person returned to the table before preparing the next course for all 4 people to enjoy.
I appreciated the warm moist towel presented before our meal began, and the moist towelette provided to wipe out fingers, if we decided to pick up the sushi with our hands rather than with chopsticks.
The servers were very attentive. The total number of guests was 14, and there were more than enough servers to assist everyone. Everyone had the same seating time, so there were no distractions from guests arriving at different times.
