Visited yesterday for the first time when I was in the area and ordered kiwi fruit tea. The lady behind the cash smiled and said it was her favourite too. And it’s now mine as well! It was the best bubble tea I’ve ever had. The nicest surprise was, that it was done with actual fresh kiwi!! I’ll definitely be back!

I don’t drink milk tea often, so I found this shop through Google Maps. The boss was very enthusiastic and recommended two drinks based on my taste. Knowing that I love tea, he also gave me homemade tea jelly as a gift. Both teas are very delicious, especially the raw coconut jasmine, which is very refreshing and especially delicious when paired with tea jelly. I will come again next time.

It's conveniently located, with its own entrance outside the main building and directly across from Kungfu Tea. The thing with Tea Rex is, while it might be a little on the pricey side, the quality of the tea speaks for itself. I usually opt for 25% sugar, which hits that sweet spot perfectly without being overpowering. (At some places, even 25% is quite sweet.) My favorites? The osmanthus sweet rice green tea latte and the grapefruit yakult green tea, priced around $6 to $7. And I can't resist adding jelly boba - those konjac balls add just the right texture. Service can be a teansy bit slow, but it's clear they're not cutting corners and really care about what they're serving. The staff are friendly, always up for a quick chat, and the cat-themed decor? Absolutely adorable. What I especially appreciate is their 11 AM opening time. As someone sensitive to caffeine, the earlier I can get my tea, the better. Tea Rex is about great tea, a friendly vibe, and a cute setting that makes it a little gem in the area. Definitely worth checking out, even if you're not balancing it out with a dentist visit!

Cute shop with some innovative flavours! I ordered the osmanthus sweet rice latte and was pleasantly surprised: it had complexity and layers, and was refreshing. The owner really puts care into his work: he pummelled the little limes himself for my cousin's drink, and another drink we ordered had real pomelo. The shop itself has limited seating. Would recommend!

Tea Rex has become my new fave bbt spot! I’m so glad this store opened up right next to my building. The servers are always so nice, welcoming and take the time to thoroughly explain what’s in the drinks. They used to have a stamp card for their customer loyalty system which has now been changed to a tablet system. I’m not sure if Dylan is the owner but he is always super friendly and offered a huge discount when I brought in my old and unused stamp card - which he didn’t have to! I would recommend stopping by and trying their Peach Oolong Tea Latte, Kumquat Lime Green Tea or the Passion Fruit Green Tea. So good!! ?
