I visited this location on May 11 and had a disappointing experience. When I began placing my order, the staff member (a woman at the counter) didn’t seem to hear me and abruptly responded with “WHAT?”, which came across as very rude.

I ordered the Deerioca Fever, and when I received it, the drink looked odd, very plain, almost like just milk. I assumed it had been shaken and that was the reason for the appearance, but after tasting it, it really did just taste like plain milk with no flavor.

I reached out to them via Instagram to raise my concern, and all I got in response was: “Let us find out, thanks.” No follow-up, no apology, no resolution.

Overall, poor service and poor customer care!

Quiet and clean bubble tea shop experience! Unlike unionville the alley here is much quiet than there. Staff working quietly too! An it comes music!

Just came from a dentist appointment and not sure if I was able to digest a bubble tea. The lady was very attentive and recommended me a royal 9 tea. I caved in, brought it home and gave it a try. Worked for me. Thank you The Alley!

Didn't experience anything negative at this location today. There was a woman and a young man there. Both said hello with a smile and promptly made our drinks. Perhaps the rude guy has been fired? There is a VERY rude man at the Yonge and Finch location so maybe he got swapped over there? Drinks were great and made exactly to order, with a smile and a thank you. 5/5

Would not return to this Alley location. The staff working there was rude and the wait time is extremely long.

I felt bad that there was only one staff member working so I tipped, but my order came out wrong (saw him making our milk teas with one shaker despite having different sugar levels) and he had an unpleasant attitude when it was brought up to him.

If I could, I'd take my tip back.

Worse alley location. I don't know if the guy was having a bad day but he looked very upset/angry. It wasn't really busy, just 2 other people ahead of me. He was really slow. I waited around 25-30 mins for my order. I ordered 2 deerioca puffs, and 2 jasmine green milk teas, one with 30% sugar and one full sugar. I saw him pour the regular sugar milk tea into both drinks (made it in the same shaker) so I tried it and asked him to remake the 30% one cause it was too sweet. He told me that it was 30% sugar and I didn't want to argue so I just asked him to remake it for me. Then he gave me attitude and asked if I wanted it no sugar. I ended up agreeing to getting no sugar and he made me wait an additional 10 mins. There were 2-3 drinks after I asked him to remake mine and he chose to make every other drink at an extremely slow pace before remaking mine. He didn't wipe the cups so there was brown sugar along the sides of my cup. I love the alley but I wouldn't go back to this location cause of this guy.

Waited 20 minutes and still no drink! Completely unacceptable! Ended up just walking out with no drink! Will never return to this location!!!

Terrible attitude from the staff.

It’s alright, but every time I go here it is ALWAYS out of tapioca pearls. Which is kind of weird!

We were given the incorrect order by at 8:30pm this Friday night after we had clearly stated the order multiple times. Pretty disappointing

Cashier was not friendly and the bubble tea is mediocre at best. It's very expensive for what you get. The tapioca wasn't fresh. With all the bubble tea options in the area, I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

It was freezing today, and I couldn’t resist grabbing a cup of milk tea while shopping at TNT. I decided to try their signature brown sugar milk tea. turns out, the default option is iced, which wasn’t ideal for this weather.

The staff were super helpful, though. They offered to remake it as a medium hot drink and even refunded the price difference. But after a few sips, I realized it was still way too sweet for my taste.

Guess old-school milk teas like this just aren’t my thing. Recommendation: If you’re into traditional brown sugar boba, give it a shot!
