superb cuisine and service. The dining room is magnificent and it is in a mansion. Both the dinner and the Pinot Noir were excellent.

Such a stunning venue for a special family meal! This mansion is so beautiful and just adds to the occasion. The steak Must be up there with the best I have ever eaten so tender and moist. The service was impeccable. Highly recommended

The Keg Mansion Toronto worth the drive free parking The Caesar salad had no Parmesan cheese or anchovies the rest of the meal was great fillet mignon and twice baked potatoes and stir fry veggies and warm bread and complimentary delicious ice cream cake for my son’s birthday and the service was acceptable

Service excellent. Staff very friendly. Nice touch was small prosecco given at door, as we waited. Food very good indeed. Hubby had a steak, he's a chef and he said it was super. I had half rack lamb, plenty enough for me, it was delish. Not cheap, match prices in the center of London UK, in a good restaurant. Went back 2nd night, re anniversary, very nice mgr brought us a free dessert to share.

I have never been disappointed at the Keg before - the food and especially the steaks - have always been about as good as you can find anywhere. Last night (Tuesday September 13th) was different. I had made a reservation the day before and we took two old friends to the Keg Mansion - being the flagship of the Keg chain I expected to treat our guests to a wonderful meal. We were seated in an upstairs side-room right beside a long table having a big party of young fellows. These guys kicked up such a racket that we couldn't hear ourselves speak! I asked the waitress (who was personable) if she could please move us and although she said she would try, we had to stay put. After ordering our food we waited 40 minutes for it to arrive and my sirloin steak was a big disappointment - tough as old boots! My friends had something different and they said it was good but, then, these are polite people. It is embarrassing to complain when you have guests so we left as soon as we had finished our main course - saying we'd go somewhere quieter. The décor of the room we were in looked 'tired' and the general appearance was sparse, comparing unfavorably with our usual Keg on Leslie Street. The impression given was that this place is taking advantage of the generally excellent reputation of Keg as well as of the supposed ambience of the Manor. If last night was al all representative, management there needs to shape up!

Snobby staff, not welcoming. Empty tables everywhere. Had 1 drink and left to go to a different keg location. We are currently at Leslie st location and vibe is higher.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner at The Keg. We ordered the two lobster tail dinner and the Blackened Chicken dinner. We enjoyed both meals. As an appetizer, I had a tasty Caesar salad. I would definitely eat there again. we did not enter the inside dining area as the weather was comfortable for outside dining.

I had a reservation for a party of 6 at 7:30pm for what was supposed to be our special dinner for this trip. Three hours beforehand we had a late add of two people to our party. I called the Keg and they did their very best to accommodate this change but we had to take a 9:00pm slot. We arrived a little earlier and the hostess worked it out so that we could be seated within minutes. I loved the fact that we were seated on the first floor because of knee issues. However I didn't like the room that we were placed in initially because it seemed isolated. I changed that opinion later because it felt like we were receiving a more focused service and special dinning experience. Our waiter was hands down the best! He started with an introduction and history of this location, followed by a detailed breakdown of the menu with recommendations. Our party had very few questions after that presentation. He was very entertaining and by the nights end I think that he was entertained by us as well ( we got pretty loud ). I can't really speak on the drinks because I drank a bottled beer. The salads and bread were excellent. The steaks were good as well. One other person had ribs and stated that they were very good. For dessert we had the raspberry cheese cake. We liked that as well. The only negative for me was the climb to the 2nd floor restrooms . They don't have elevators and this is mentioned somewhere on their website, so I knew in advance. Had a great night here and would return if ever in toronto. We would also like to try another Keg location to compare.

Lot of sauce to disguise poor quality This is a sort of good option. I’m sure in an effort to control cost they are using subprime cuts and covering them up with lots of sauce in hopes that you can’t tell. Flavor was bland. Service was good. Drinks from bar are inconsistent. Toronto is a foodie place with lots of options. There are far better choices than the Keg.

We haven't lived in Canada for years but when I'm in Toronto I always look forward to visiting The Keg. We chose to celebrate my daughter's college graduation dinner here and weren't disappointed. Service was excellent and the food was reliably delicious. The entrées were perfectly prepared and arrived hot and ready. The Billy Miner pie was just how I remembered it! I highly recommend this classic restaurant for any family gathering.

We decided to celebrate our 28th anniversary at the Keg Mansion, and it did not disappoint. First off, we were seated in "The Library", close to a giant old fireplace, a good sized table, and comfortable chairs. Our server, James, was fantastic. We had the Keg Classic Prime Rib and the Keg Classic Filet Mignon. Both were perfectly cooked, and delicious. Thank you Keg Mansion for making our anniversary memorable!!! We look forward to celebrating with you again!

Good steak and well prepared lobster. Tried the classic prime rib and sirloin and both are tasty and the right medium rare. Great ambiance in a classic mansion. Will return next time.

I would not even give them one star if possible. Worst meal I have had in a long time.I had a good experience at the Keg in North York and wanted to try the one closer to our house. We ordered a few drinks, Oyster Rockefeller, Tuna Tartare, Steak & Shrimp and the Ling Cod.After my husband got the bill, I went to the washroom to throw up the Oyster Rockefeller. Flavours were masked by the cheese. The oysters were not fresh and full of shell shards. The tuna tartare was the saddest one I have had to date. It had NO SEASONING OR ACIDITY. so I pay $17 for the dish to season and add acidity by myself. Come on.The steak we ordered medium rare was overcooked to medium well. We were to hungry to send it back. The jus was so watery it felt like you were pouring heated up coke on top of the steak. Can you please thicken it up with a roux or something?I ate two bites of the Ling Cod and left it. It was just as sad as the cousin Tuna Tartare. The vegetables were overcooked and lifeless. The dish was made for cremation. The server did not quality check us on the mains. They did not ask if there was something wrong with it. The worst part is that on the bar, there were employee eating staff meal etc. The servers were only talking to their coworkers and it felt stupid. No service, the chef is a joke and it was just a nightmare. It like overpriced retirement home food.I'm not asking for free stuff like many 1star reviewers. I make my money, I will pay my dues. I have owned my own restaurants and I know it's not easy. But can you tell me what the heck you are doing at this restaurant?

Have been here a few times. Tonight, brought some out-of-town friends. I had the 6oz classic, which was great -- but -- iceberg wedge had barely a drizzle of dressing -- broccoli was burnt, mushrooms were overcooked -- squash(?) was soggy -- asparagus was only stalks and no tips -- so, rather disappointing accompaniments.
