Very horrible experience. I wanted to use the bathroom before ordering my food. The lady there stopped me and told me what you’re doing. I told her I have to use the bathroom then I will order. She would not hear me at all and she told me to get out of the store. I repeatedly told her I just need to use the bathroom then I will order but she kept telling me to leave. Very horrible and rude staff would never come here.

Let’s start with the avocado, it’s black. The arepas are not what’s in the picture and the arepa is dry. La bandeja paisa is awful and the rice has to be a few days old. And the hair en el sancocho was the cherry on top. Need a knife to cut that. The meet is dry. Please please drive to Delicious empanada. $140 down the drain. I could see why the were empty.

Overall the food was okay,nothing too special. However the pork had a noticeable gamey and slightly off-putting smell, which took away from the experience. Hope the quality can be improved

I was there yesterday with a group of friends. My friend wanted Salchipapa and a Hot Dog. The owner made a comment saying “You come to a Colombian restaurant to order Salchipapa and Hot dog” the comment was uncalled for. If it bothers you people order that why is it on the menu? I wish i spoke up on the spot but i was processing it.
The empanadas never came so we had to get them taken off the receipt (not a big deal).
The food was good except the bandeja paisa. The beans were mediocre. I have had passion fruit with milk but she said not possible. Because the citrus spoils the milk (true if not done properly).
It’s far from my house so not a place i would drive for. Much rather go to Esto es Colombia near Yorkdale mall.

What an amazing hole in the wall in East Markham! This place has such an authentic and warm feel, the first thing the owner said when I walked in, was “welcome to Colombia”. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. I will definitely be a return customer!

Amazing textures and taste, we got the beef and pork belly tostons and loved both. Really liked the lulo juice, coffee and salsa as well. Lovely service as well. Definitely will be coming back to try other things on the menu.
