Super disappointed in the coconut cream pie. They have changed the recipe and not like it used to taste. Should have chosen the chocolate cake. Had I known that they changed the way it's made I would have stayed away. Do not buy the coconut cream pie. It was gross.

I have been a customer of VG since they were at Carlton and Kennedy. I have seen the prices of their items soar but I wanted to support them as a neighbour. I have noticed that the line to cash is not first come first serve, the cashiers have some customers they cash before (friends?). Today a customer demanded I thank her because she did not cut the line. It is sad to see this decline to a local treasure.

Always a great experience here. The store is clean, well-stocked, and everything feels high quality. Staff are friendly and professional, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into how the place is run.
Definitely one of the best grocery stores in the area.

Why are you selling expired bakery items? I purchased this without looking at the sticker on Saturday Aug 23 and it had already been expired for a day. I noticed this with their bruschetta mix as well.

They have an exceptional bakery with amazing pies and roll cakes. They also have good quality meats. The store is very clean and welcoming.

Self-glorified grocery store that’s not worth it. The sausage form the bbq was bad as well so im glad it was only $10. You know the casing that surrounds the meat? That’s exactly how it looked and felt when I ate it, it was chewy and it separated as I bit into it. Clearly wasn’t full cooked well. Thomas doesn’t know what he’s doing and they talk over the food too much, both while grilling and at the meat counter. Definitely would avoid.
