highly satisfied with the outcomes the lady called nalia
This place seems like a horrible environment for the workers. I have been told jaw dropping stories from several employees about management and how the owners don’t do anything about certain situations along with seeing conflicts here first-hand. Neither owners nor management care for their workers. Employees scared to speak up, being aggressively spoken to by management, ridiculed and embarrassed in-front of customers, concerns being ignored by management, being rebelled against by management, so on and so forth. I feel sorry for these employees having to endure these situations just so they can make ends meat while owners and management take full advantage of their situation.. Honestly am surprised they havent been sued for mental and physical distress as of yet. I’d advise everyone to not visit this Tim Hortons or support this specific business location. !! Ive also been told a-lot of these “good” reviews are posted by management or they have told employees to write fake reviews, just a heads up as you read through them. !!
Owners and Management, Do Better
I’ve been coming to this Tim Hortons almost every day for over a month now, as my husband has been in the hospital. Being here for so long, you start to notice things—good and bad—and I felt it was time I finally left a review.
First, I want to talk about the young lady who seems to be either a manager or supervisor. She’s tall and always moving around, helping in every corner of the store—taking orders, running food, checking on the staff, even wiping tables when no one else is looking. She carries herself with a quiet grace and patience that truly touched my heart.
One day, when I was feeling overwhelmed and tired, she smiled gently at me and took the time to explain my order clearly when I was a bit confused. She didn’t rush me, and I could feel genuine kindness from her—something you don’t always get in busy places like this. I never got the chance to thank her properly, but if she’s reading this: thank you for your warmth, especially during a hard time in my life.
However, not everything is perfect in this store. On more than one occasion, I’ve noticed some staff members being outright disrespectful to this kind young woman. One time, I was standing nearby when I heard a staff member raise their voice at her in a very unpleasant way. I could see she was trying hard not to break down. She just quietly said, “I don’t want to talk about it right now,” and walked away to help another customer like nothing happened. I honestly don’t know how she does it—with a smile still on her face. That’s real strength and professionalism.
It breaks my heart a little to see someone who is doing their very best, under so much pressure, not always get the respect they deserve—from both coworkers and customers. It’s sad to say, but some guests are not always polite either. Yet, this young lady treats everyone the same—with kindness and patience.
I’ve been around long enough to know when someone’s heart is in the right place, and hers surely is. Tim Hortons, if you’re reading this, please recognize the gem you have in her. She is the reason I’ve kept coming back here during one of the hardest times of my life. And while there are things that can be improved—mainly staff attitude and teamwork—I truly hope she gets the support she deserves.
Thank you again, dear. I don’t know your name, but I’ll remember your kindness for a long time.
I’ve been visiting this store frequently over the past few days while my mom has been admitted to the hospital. Each time, I’ve been welcomed with warm smiles and the staff has made sure my order was prepared quickly and accurately, which I truly appreciate during a stressful time.
However, I had an unpleasant experience today around 12 PM. While waiting for my sandwich, I witnessed what seemed like a manager or supervisor, a tall female employee, shouting at a younger female staff member in front of several customers. When the younger employee responded, the tall lady yelled back loudly, saying, “I don’t care and I don’t want to talk to you, just go.” This exchange made many customers visibly uncomfortable and talk among themselves.
I felt really bad for the young employee. No matter the issue, it should have been handled privately, not in front of customers. It was not professional and certainly not the kind of environment any employee deserves to be in.
That said, I want to acknowledge that the rest of the team has consistently been kind and efficient. The food and drinks are always great and the service is usually excellent. I just hope the situation I witnessed is addressed appropriately and that team leadership reflects the professionalism shown by the rest of the staff.
This place always sucks not because of their staff but their management. I think i came around 6 pm on Wednesday and line was till outside the store. Poor 2 girls ( they were still so kind and patie) and there was also a old chinese lady with them . They were struggling alot. Thing is if you guys want sale then please put more employees accordingly. Everytime we went there and long lines ups and 2 or 3 person working only.
I visited this Tim Hortons around 8:45 PM on Wednesday and ordered two coffees. After paying and receiving them, I took a sip and immediately noticed the coffee tasted like water. I brought it to the attention of the female employee, who casually told me, “We’re closing soon, so I used espresso and hot water.”
I was honestly shocked. Rather than informing me that there was no fresh coffee available and offering an alternative like tea, or espresso, she took it upon herself to create a poor substitute without asking. I didn’t know how to react in the moment and just walked out—but the more I thought about it, the more frustrated I became.
Not only was the drink undrinkable, but I wasn’t even offered a refund or a proper explanation. I find it completely unacceptable to serve a customer something so far from what they paid for, especially without any warning or consent.
If you're grabbing a coffee near closing time, you might want to double-check what you're actually being served.
I love coming to this Tim Hortons. The employees are all very friendly. I visit just to see some of them.
Great people, Great times, so thankful

This is the only Tim Hortons open at Markham Stouffville that serves cold drinks and it’s always a pleasure visiting! The team here is always friendly, kind and fast to make our orders. The line moves very quickly and the store is clean inside and out. Shout out to Radika and her team, especially the ones working during the morning rush on Oct 4! :)

Why is there an App, when those in line get served first??
Night after night after night, I order, walk 0.5 km, and watch people in line served when my order isn't yet begun. PATHETIC SERVICE!!! Take lessons from the competition.
