Very terrible customer experience at this location today. One of the male staff cashier on the drive thru was extremely rude and showed no respect for the customer. If your job makes you unhappy, you can change your jobs. But don't take your bad mood out on your customer.

Still, when you need a quick bite to eat, it’s the main Tim’s location on the corner of Major Mac and Markham. I’ve been a regular customer at this Tim Hortons (9970 Markham Rd, Markham) for a very long time. Over the years, the service here has had ups and downs — sometimes very good, sometimes a few small issues.
But in the past few weeks, I’ve noticed a big improvement. This location has really stepped up and is doing a great job day by day.
On my last visit (Friday, September 19, 2025 around 11:00 am for dine-in), everything was absolutely fine. The food, coffee, and service were all excellent. One gentleman, who I believe is the manager, even came over and asked if everything was okay. I think his name starts with “R” — I forgot the full name — but he was very professional, friendly, and cool.
I truly believe the new management is making a positive difference, and it really shows. Great job to the whole team at this Tim Hortons! Keep it up.

I visit this Tim Hortons at 9970 Markham Rd almost every day, and it truly is the best one! The staff are always friendly, the service is quick, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—and it’s always fresh, tasty, and consistent. The coffee is always hot, my orders are always accurate, and I always leave satisfied. This location is by far the best Tim Hortons in Markham, and I highly recommend it!

Been to this location several times and most of the staff are pretty helpful. A note to some of the new hires: I prefer if you didn’t slam my pastry down onto the counter so that it breaks before handing it to me. Had to ask for a new one.

Ordered two bagels with herbs and garlic cream cheese. This is the amount of cream cheese I got. As a former Tim Hortons employee, I know that this is absolutely unacceptable. Highly recommend visiting another location, with an owner who is focused on customer service rather than cutting costs.
