i always wonder why some say the portions are just okay. i actually find it big and hard to finish for one person. their katsu tastes delicious and the cut is just right.

Way too expensive for a food court restaurant. Portions were small, but the pork cutlet was fried fresh.

Came for a late lunch and decided to try this place out. Hands down one of the best katsu burgers I've ever tried. Their okonomiyaki was also amazing. Would come bacm

Their Katsu burger is a different level. Best burger ever and the best price as well. They should raise the price.

We ordered a beef udon in soup for takeout. After got home we realized the lip was not closed. The soup got poured completely and damaged our car seat.

I tried the Fish katsu since they ran out of the regular katsu sauce around end of day. It was pretty good, with four pieces of crispy breaded fish and it was fluffy inside, served with a tangy white sauce. Reminds me of a Korean takeout place I used to go to in the Path downtown. Hits the spot. The meal comes with a light salad with thousand island dressing, a small pasta salad, small portion of rice and a miso soup.

I ordered the kimchi stew with katsu ($14.99), katsu was delicious; breading was not heavy at all, and the meat was seasoned well.I really appreciate that lots of veggies were added to the kimichi stew and that the kimichi did not overpower the dish; it was nice that seaweed was given on the side.Portion is above average and price is decent.Price is good and the quality of katsu is really good! I will be back to try their other dishes.

Came to run some errands around the area and stumbled upstairs foodcourt. It was late lunch and I needed something yummy to feed my toddler. Walked around the foodcourt to see what they had to offer and stopped at Uncle Don and ordered katsu combo and katsu yaki udon.mr. Tran was not impressed when I said let's eat at the foodcourt so his standards were little to none, but seeing that the foodcourt was full of Koreans eating and chatting away I was sure food has to be delicious here.We were able to find a table and waited about 10 minutes until our order was ready. We were given the buzzer to notify us when to pick up our order. At first glance portion wise look decent, and food look good to.Our orders came with miso soup and it was not too bland and not salty at all. My toddler loved the soup (shes a soup gal just like her mama). Katsu was good but the sauce that goes with it can be improved. The yaki udon was really delicious, I love the bouncy and chewiness of the udon, and the bits of veggies and bean sprouts gave it a nice crunch in texture. mr. Tran also enjoyed his meal very much. He finished everything and he was surprised as well. He didn't expect foodcourt food to be this delicious lol.

Great food and quantity. Out of all the Korean-style donkatsu in the area, this place is by far the best. Katsu sauce is amazing, katsu isn't super thin, and has a crispy breading. Seems like a family run business, they are super friendly!

Uncle Don is one of the restaurants at the food court upstairs at Shops on Yonge, a mall just north of Yonge and Steeles. We ordered the original katsu, which came with a small portion of pasta salad and soup. The katsu was yummy, and the portions were good too. We would definitely get it again and try the other menu items, like curry katsu.

Absolute garbage. Employees act like trash to their customers, usually restaurants value customer service, but obviously not this place

In the food court at Shops on Yonge, we've got a great value cutlet shop. I've ordered their pork cutlet on rice with coleslaw a couple or times now and I've never been disappointed. It won't be as high quality as Cotolet, but for the price, it is satisfying for both your tastebuds and wallet. I've yet to try their other items but I'll definitely be back to explore their menu further.

Uncle Don is located at the center area of the food court. I ordered the beef bugolgi don, it comes with miso soup and cabbage salad. Everything tasted freshly made. The only thing was the beef was a little too salty. Good thing there's a good amount of rice with the beef, it really helped balanced the saltiness from the beef. Overall, very good service and good amount of food for the price. Might try their Katsu next time!
