Nice warm home feeling restaurant, the portion size is very friendly for the price. My kids and I had a good time dining in.
I am so disappointed with this restaurant. The quality severely dropped after the change of ownership. The family owned feel is all gone. Never going back. The steak I ordered was overcooked and was tasteless. The soup was powdered and not stirred enough. The vegetables soggy. I don't have enough vocabulary to vocalize my grief. I wish the previous owners didn't have to hand it over to this new team.
Breakfast was excellent, great service as well. Will be back soon!
Lovely family Resturant. Beautifully done steak exactly what I asked for medium rare leaning more to the rare side. Shrimp pasta was delicious the shrimp was done perfectly and not overly cooked. Nice family style smash potatoes and butter grilled veggies as a side. The garlic bread and soup of the day remind me of grandmama’s cooking.
Very old family restaurant. Very Quite so it’s really good for friend gathering. Preordered leg of lamb. It’s really good but rest of food were average.
just realized it's changed ownership
was served with Peameal bacon that's gone bad (taste sour) . . . Offered to change to regular ham but still tasted weird 🤮
Bill was not adjusted for the price of regular ham either when we asked for the bill... Still Paid but less tip and left. Will never go back 😔
On a cold and rainy day I decided to seek warmth and comfort and came into this restaurant, I heard that this place was great but I left disappointed.
I ordered the angus steak and asked for medium rare, what came was a slab of overcooked, under seasoned, dry meat that should only be fed to the dogs.
Only one side of the meat was medium rare, the other side was well done, grill marks were there but at this point it only looks good and my eyes were full but my appetite was disgusted. Even the beef drippings that came with the steak didn’t save it and were also lacking any flavour.
The soup that came with the meal was also full of flour clumps as it wasn’t fully cooked out.
The only good part of the meal were the vegetables but even those were under seasoned.
Overall I would avoid this place like the plague.
Very cute and kind owners, the haddock was full and the peppercorn with the veggies was super tasty.
I had a great time here but it would be great to have a couple of vegetarian foods.
Good place for beef. Very nice

Avoid this restaurant! We went there with my son and ordered the most expensive steak on their menu (50$). It was the worst steak we have had so far. It came with some tasteless mashed potato too. My kid said that if I had bought a steak from a supermarket and cooked it myself it would have been way better than this. The washroom was not clean either.
Great small restaurant, kinda changed a bit on service. Used to be nicer
Uncle Joe’s Restaurant offers a variety of delicious, well-prepared dishes, from juicy steaks to flavorful shrimp pasta. The staff is attentive and accommodating, making the visit enjoyable.
New ownership, new taste. Menu is still the same, but personal favourites aren't the same anymore. Egg Benedict was a major miss; egg was heavily overcooked, meat was too salty, and potatoes were mushy. Chicken Alfredo wasn't bad but its on the bland side. Maybe other menu items could be better, but will miss the egg benny. Server was welcoming, appreciate the service.
Mold garlic bread, raw pasta, fillet of salmon is dry, the only good thing is the nestea
