Always a delight to have an uncle tetsu cheesecake. This time I tried their Yuzu one and tbh it tasted very close to the original. Very faint tartness which may be what the flavour profile was supposed to be but it missed its mark this time. Still the original and their madeleine are very good. Warm the madeleine in the microwave for 15 secs though.
10/10 incredibly fluffy.
My family and I tried their cheesecake back in 2020, and we didn't like it at all. It tasted so horrible. I never understood the hype for it. I agree with what one reviewer wrote here. Their famous cheesecakes taste like nothing! There are better Japanese bakeries at J-Town and elsewhere in the GTA with better tasting pastries and cakes.
Very good cheese cake, but a little on small.
I went to buy the cheese cake on June 21 @ 7:30 pm. the employee was on the tablet, looked like he was busy. Didn't even looked at us. He finally looked up and nodded his head asking what do you want. I asked for the berry cheesecake, he nodded none. Then I said I'll take the regular one, warm, he didn't acknowledge that at all. He packed, I paid and left. He didn't bother to say 'hi or thank you'. Seemed like he didn't care, he was just there doing his job. He was on the tablet all the time I was there. The employee didn't have basic service skills.
Everything is great about it.

If you have not tried Japanese cheese cake, Tetsu's are worth a try. It is not like regular cheesecake very unique. The staff are friendly and the treats are great.

Came here on Xmas day and there was a bit of a line but so happy it was open on Xmas day as nothing else was open! I have to say that they have the best Japanese Cheesecake (original one) and cheese tarts. Just tried the creme brûlée cheese tart was also really good. I do have to say the ube cheesecake was not the best and would not get it again.

My wife likes uncle Tetsu's cheese cake 🍰, I normally don't eat sweet stuff but this cake is okay to have a small piece

A tiny shop that features probably the best souffle style Japanese cheese cake in town. I come here for the cake, not the other pastry which also looks quite good. The cake feels so light that I can eat at least half of it or more in one go. Very delicious. Eating it warm is the best 🥰 highly recommend 👍. Carry out only. It's located outside but attached to Pacific Mall so parking is not a major issue.
