Really comfortable atmosphere they don’t rush you like other Chinese congee restaurants. All the dishes we tried (congee, soup noodles, rice roll) were all very good. And even the kids liked it. On the weekend, you will need to wait a bit because it’s popular.

It was quite quick to get seated. I appreciated the sour pickles as a starter. We order congee, shrimp rice roll, fish skin, one plain ho fun and one wonton meen and cold lemon tea. Everything was good except the noodles. For some reason the soup was soooo oily, we ate here before and didn’t have that problem. Hope the owners will check out what the issue is.

Southern suckling pig's knuckles are so salty that they don't know how to taste them in the kitchen and are taboo in the food market.

Found this place randomly and I liked it!
The congee and the Lo mein are good. Will come back !

Their congee texture is too thick. The deep fried dough is poor in quality, tasted not fresh.
I watched some foodie Youtubers who had recommended their viewers to try 滿意粥粉面 Very Good Congee & Noodle located inside King Square Shopping Centre located near 16th Avenue and Woodbine intersection in Markham, so I have decided to bring my parents to give this a try.
The restaurant is a good size with 5 or 6 booths, surrounded by tables for 2 or 4. It's modern, simple with clean interior with a forest birch background wall as one of the resto's wall.
Prices are pretty on par with other similar specialty wonton noodle shops which is $12 CDN + tax here at Very Good Congee & Noodle.
My parents ordered a bowl of shrimp wonton soup noodle and a bowl of assorted "boat son" congee to share. Meanwhile, I ordered a bowl of beef tendon soup noodle for myself.
My beef tendon arrived first and for some reason, the shrimp wonton noodles took quite a while before it arrived to my parents. Luckily, they got to try the assorted congee, otherwise, they will be watching me indulging my bowl of noods. LOL
The broth of my beef tendon noodle was clean, smooth and mixed with the marinated beef tendon sauce, it's the highlight of my bowl. The egg noodles were very refined, thin and fresh. However, compared to other noodle shops, the noods here seem to be less bouncy or less "song". I don't know if they exclude the soap water which other restaurants used so often to make the noods chewy. I can't conclude. Anyhow, the nood still fresh but less chewy.
Brownie points for this resto to sprinkled the "9 yellow" to the broth which is a nice touch and what an authentic wonton noods should include. Beef tendons were in abundance and they were perfect texture, not too hard, not too soggy, just the way I like it.
The chilli oil provided was fresh and smells so good. It's not too spicy but does the job.
The assorted congee was a disappointment. It doesn't have lettuce strands but more importantly, the toppings were lacking in variety and not much in proportion either. In many restaurants, assorted congee includes lots of squid, strips of pork, shrimps, lettuce strips and other ingredients. But here, it's lots of strands of pork that you see more in a century egg congee than in an assorted congee. There was only little bit of of squid, little bit of jellyfish, but there were no shrimps or other ingredients. It mainly lots of BBQ duck and strands of pork and that's about it. ONLY good thing about this bowl is the good viscosity of the congee, otherwise, this bowl of congee is a let down here, "NOT Very Good" if you want to play on words.
The shrimp wonton soup noodles that my parents ordered seem to be quite good and it comes with 5 shrimp wontons. The broth was clear, clean but flavourful. Lots of shrimp roe on top which is a rarity in many restaurants where most other places wouldn't bother to include shrimp roe.
The wonton was a good size, not too big, not too small, there was shrimp paste, then big wholesome shrimp with a hint of shrimp roe. Wonton is good here.
I do have to emphasize that the service is excellent here. The staff are hardworking, they never give you a hard time or never give us piss off faces like other typical restaurants. We asked for extra bowls to share, iced water and extra napkins and they obligated without any resistance, so that's a major plus.
Overall, I wouldn't say the noodles here are amazing, but it's typical and good, but not as hype or what other Youtubers hyping it up to be. Again, at the end of the day, everyone taste buds are subjective and different. It does the job though.
Parking: Plenty of accessible underground and outdoor parking spots. Lots of free parking, you can choose to park underground which is spacious and lit or outdoor parking.

Located inside Kings Square
There is plenty of parking out front and underground.
Their service is quick but inattentive as many items were forgotten.
The food quality is meh. Lacks flavour and not just salt missing.
The inside appears to be very flexible for seating and open kitchen for all to watch the wizardry happening in the back.
The restaurant is brightly lit and spacious but the quality and attentiveness was not up to par unfortunately.

Good food and good prices! Went with a table for four on a Saturday afternoon, and we waited about 15 minutes for a table. We ordered the shrimp rice rolls, Wonton noodles, the Dace fish balls, and the assorted congee. All of it was pretty average, including the wonton noodle bowl, but what was exceptional about it was the noodles. It was perfectly soft and chewy, while the soup was pretty bland. The congee included squid, pork, and other stuff, and I thought it was too clumpy and not watery enough. The fish balls were slightly too salty in my opinion, and the rice roll was good. The dishes got sent to us extremely quick, and service was quite fast. Overall, we paid $16 per person and it was a good meal!

30 minute wait on the weekend - not terrible.
- Excellent lo mein. Very good texture and taste. Enjoyed the spicy pork.
- Excellent iced milk tea.
- Excellent noodles.
- Great hot sauce!
- Pass on the rice rolls; rice was too thick and not much BBQ pork. Felt very unbalanced and mediocre texture like it was frozen and steamed
Would come back but not wait 30 minutes for it

Calling it 'very good' doesn’t do it justice—this place is outstanding for the price. The noodles are perfectly al dente without that usual alkaline tang, and the broth, made with flatfish, is topped with shrimp roe and garlic chives for a flavorful punch. The fish skin stays crispy even after a 20-minute car ride, and the beef roll is hearty, firm, and bursting with fresh parsley flavor. While it may not be the best wonton noodle I’ve ever had, it’s definitely 'very good'—absolutely worth it!

Very good wonton-Hong Kong Style with a bit of pork and 大地魚粉。 Polite staff and clean restaurant.
One question…has the chef handling the noodle left? The wonton noodle isn’t cooked as good as before.

The taste is just ok, portion is small, food generally is no special, the price is high too, spend 60 for lunch for 2 people, and don't even get full, there are many other options compared with this restaurant.
