So my wife and I have been hearing about the food in Canada and while we're both stuck to what we know I decided to take a chance and order a Canadian staple, Poutine. I gotta say it takes alot like Disco fries. If you're from Jersey then you know what I mean. We also got the Buffalo wings and the kids got hot dogs, fries and chicken fingers. Our hostess/server Francine was very friendly and down to earth. We asked about places my wife and I thought of checking out with good schools. She shared great advice and our kids mentioned that she was cool too. My only knock was the diner itself seemed small to other diners I've been too but I liked the quietness too. Next time Imma try another authentic Canadian dish.

I had lunch there on Saturday (awkars and lout server was excellent. They have an extensive menu that can accommodate any palate. I had the Flashback combo, which was basically a loaded breakfast with 2 giant fluffy buttermilk pancakes, bacon, pea meal bacon, 2 sausages, and home fries. I personally really liked food.
If you want classic comfort food and in 0a relaxed and casual dining experience, the Wimpy's Diner is the place to go, too!

Order pancakes online at your own risk. Have tried ordering from here a few times and have gotten inconsistent results. Sometimes they send butter, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they send syrup, sometimes they don't. Sometimes you get neither, making the pancakes inedible and you've wasted your money. I think I'm done gambling here.

Had to try the dinner for the first time. Food is always good. Service lady didn't look like she wanted to be there. Payment cash only did not trill me. To top it off as we sat down. The customer was leaving and complaining about the payment method. He said that during the last 6 months, he showed up. POS is never working. So you either come in cash in hands or leave a restaurant to obtain cash from the banking machine. Nostalgia for chain remains, but services need overhaul.

The nostalgia is definitely on point as is with Wimpy's Diners. We walked in, cash only which we agreed to. One patron mentioned to the manager that everytime he's been here, debit POS has always been down which is usually the first sign of restaurants that end up failing. The service was terrible, can hear the manager/cook complain in the kitchen. I usually love these diners but I will forever avoid this location moving forward. The food was on point however.

We went here on May 25th 2024 at around 3pm. First of all, the waiter came up to us about 5 times within a 5 minute period to take our order. We felt that we were being rushed out. Then when my nephew ordered his food, the waiter told us “No, that is too much for you” and made him order a smaller meal. If he didn’t finish it, we would have brought it home and had the rest of it for dinner. The waiter had no right to dictate to us what we order.
Great diner and waitress. Old skool vibes and fairly priced.

Great little retro diner, gives the feel that your looking for. The waitress was really nice, she was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and I had no problems here other than the debit and credit system being down, make sure to bring cash!

Parking: Located in a mall, large amounts of space.
Kid-friendliness: Great family diner for any meal of the day!
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps every so often and the entrance is level to the mall and sidewalk.
