This place was basically like my second home at school. I would come here almost every day to eat lunch with my boyfriend. Andy, the owner, knew every single person's name. Not only is his service amazing but he is a friend to anyone that walks in. There was a family cultivated there. He always was so generous and the food was so amazing each time - my boyfriend would make fun of me for scraping the bowl. The student discount was also so affordable. I've had so many memories there, and it is the definition of authentic, homey food that makes you feel nice and warm inside. 😋😋

Pho is good, the good OG taste. However, no beef tendon in the special pho.
The chicken rice is not bad, but its not using broken rice (1 star less for that).
Very generous takeout portion for rice.

I always bring my friends here once in a while. The pho always taste the same with good soup base. The owner always remember us and greets us, 11/10 service!

Me and the owner here are besties by the way which I think says a lot about their customer service the beautiful community they’ve built here at this restaurant.

Throughout high school this place has always been a safe haven to enjoy a comforting bowl of pho for lunch. Along the way there have been SO many good memories here: studying last minute for a test, laughing over school drama, or even battling on clash royale with friends.

Graduating now, I’m incredibly saddened to part ways with this place and all that it means to me. I hope everyone who comes here is also able to enjoy this place as much as I did.

As a huge fan of the Vietnamese cuisine, Pho Xe Lua always provided that experience. The food is certainly makes you feel like you are in Vietnam eating the authentic thing. Service is quick and every meal came fresh and hot. Highly recommend any of their broth pho bowls and a side dish like spring rolls or satay fish balls to accompany it.
