Absolutely disappointing experience. The food was well below average. The seafood was passable, but the beef? Terrible. It tasted like the cheapest cut of meat possible — the texture was off, and once it was boiled in the hot pot, the color looked completely wrong. It was honestly questionable.
The only decent part of the night was our main server — polite, helpful, and kind. But all of that was ruined by another staff member — an older woman with short hair to ear-length and glasses — who made the entire experience uncomfortable and frustrating.
When we received the bill, she rudely assumed we were members because we had dined there once before. She said it in a condescending tone, like it was somehow our mistake not to be members, and kept pushing the membership plan after we said no. The worst part? As I started to pay in cash, she literally stood right next to me — less than 15cm away — and stared directly at my wallet, watching me pay bill by bill. She wouldn’t move, wouldn’t back off. It was invasive, awkward, and completely inappropriate.
It’s 2025. What kind of customer service allows a staff member to stand over a guest and stare at their wallet while they’re paying? That is beyond unprofessional — it’s aggressive and totally disrespectful.
If she had just left the bill on the table and walked away, I would’ve paid more without hesitation. But her attitude and behaviour made me feel so uncomfortable and offended that I couldn’t wait to leave.
Avoid this place. There are way better hot pot restaurants in Richmond Hill and Markham. Save your money and your dignity — go elsewhere.

It’s a pretty high end hot pot place with many dishes on their menu. I would say it does a good job separating itself from other hotpot spots in the GTA. I did however find it fairly expensive compared to its competitors

The ladies here were so imformative and kind and just overall impressed.
Most hot pot places won’t even talk to you but as a first timer here the lady was super friendly and helpful and even made me her own sauce haha!
One thing negative I would say their meat selection is small but the quality is so fresh and very very thick
