The prices here are UNBEATABLE. 6$ for a box of Chow Mein? Yes please. So much variety, too! I order my favorite beef noodle dish here every time I'm in Markham. Yan Can Cook is definitely not as consistent as the higher-end restaurants, but I really can't complain about the price.
My family loves the fried squid, although it's a hit and a miss. The portions are also really big. Three boxes of food costs 35$ (pretty rare in THIS economy) are enough...

Truly a classic spot! Been coming here since I was a kid and it’s still delish and affordable.
I always get the curry fish balls for a lil snack when I’m in the area. I enjoy that they give you toothpicks to eat with it’s a cute touch!
