Visited this place on our way to Blue Mountain. Small and cozy place. We ordered Mama's meatloaf, chicken Parmesan, Honey sesame chicken, mashed potato, extra gravy and Iced tea. Food was great and portions were good. The bread with meatloaf was soft and yummy. Served with a good amount of butter. The meatloaf was also well done. Chicken Parmesan was great although we didn't like the spaghetti served along with the Parm. It felt undercooked and the sauce was not that good. Honey sesame chicken was great. The rice was sauteed with thick sauce and the chicken was well fried and crispy. One thing we found odd was that they said Honey sesame chicken only has a side of rice even though it was listed under the platter options which clearly mentioned includes veggies, rice and potato. But when served there were some veggies but no potato. Iced tea was bitter and had a strong flavour and was not up to our expectation. Still we would definitely visit if we ever visit Meaford in future.

Gone down hill heavily in the past year or so. Not sure why people still go besides it being one of the only places in town. Overpriced and poor quality food. Service is not much better sadly.Use to be great but now not worth it one bit.

Fun little spot downtown Meaford right on the Main Street . Has a pub kind of atmosphere with a bar , and booths and a few tv’s to watch a game on . Staff was friendly and food came out quickly . We had a falafel bowl salad which was great ! Veggies were fresh and abundant . My friend had a beef dip which was good but she does not like the spice Rosemary and it was heavily seasoned with it so it was not enjoyable for her . She was quickly offered something else and and the final bill was discounted which was very lovely ! Parallel Parking is on the street right out front .

Nice little spot right in town. Simple fare, reasonable prices. Food was excellent, save the fries which were asked to be well done but came out as standard crisp, no biggie, they were still good. Pic is a half eaten beef dip. Au jus flavourful, beef tender and tasty, bun soft and fresh. Lots of friendly wait staff. Felt like I was walking into the set of "Cheers". Great local atmosphere. Will be back.Parking: Street parking plus large free lot across the street.

Fries with gravy got me hooked after my first visit! Refreshing Bloody Caesar just what I needed to get ready to watch Canadian comedian Shaun Majumder at Meaford Hall on Sunday, October 29th at 7:30 PM I will definitely visit again to devour more of those delicious French fries (oui oui je suis une Frenchy de la ville de Toronto)Parking: located straight across the street - a shared lot of Home Hardware & Meaford Hall

We enjoyed dining during the Fall Apple Harvest Festival. It was great to enjoy a beverage and meal while watching the main street parade out the front window. The food was good and the staff were great!

Nice atmosphere, great service very busy. I ordered hot tea and the smoked meat sandwich with fries. This is where things went off the rails, the tea was served and the cup was ice cold. I asked for the cup to be warmed, buy the time I got the cup back my tea was luke warm. My sandwich came as ordered, however, it wasn't smoked meat it was corned beef and the sandwich was also just warm. The fries were hot. I would try it a second time. My 2 cents.
