The loaded fries were incredible, fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and stay hot. The house sauce is delicious, we almost went back to get an extra side of the sauce. There is a gravel area in front with picnic tables and patio furniture. They are licensed so my husband had a beer and I had a frozen daiquiri! And had to get my daughter a virgin daiquiri too ;)

Best fish & chip spot I’ve found outside the east coast (if you follow me, you’ll see that I love them haha). It’s worth the drive from Ottawa for sure. Great food, great staff, nice outdoor patio area with tables and also some comfy couches. The 2 piece fish and chips can easily feed two people, and they have a decent selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Bonus is that it’s on the main drag of Merrickville, so you can walk off SOME of the calories...
I guess we still prefer our fish & chips at Manoll’s in Brockville.
Way too many bees and flies flying around our food and drink. :(
