My Grandmother used to take me to The Bean all the time for breakfast and we grew to love the place, the people, and the food. I stopped in last week to grab some treats to bring to work and early in the morning I was greeted by a kind man who was quick to grab me all the goodies I had asked for. I tried out the handmade peanut butter cups and the cinnamon buns and they are both absolutely delicious! Love love love and will be getting them again for sure!
Went here while visiting Merrickville to drop in for a beverage and a snack. This is a small, quaint coffee house, with friendly people. The snack was decent, and the coffee was ok too (according to the lady). Had a grilled cheese which was a bit on the pricey side for what it was, but was tasty. I would stop in here again when I am in the area.

What a great find. I was cold and trying to kill some time while my wife was shopping. I stopped in for a quick coffee and happy to report ther service was friendly and the coffee is the best I've had in a long time. Much better than my usual Starbucks.
