Poutine was good, the fries were great, but not much curd. Gravy was 'OK'. Burger was 'OK' for a frozen patty, but kinda meh. I made a special trip to try this place and they were out of stock on two very popular menu items. Seemed a bit expensive after Tip.

Stopped in to try some fries while passing through Merrickville. What a great little spot! Homemade egg role was nice. And the fries were outstanding!… Which is saying a lot coming from me, as I’m very picky about good French fries. Friendly service. Generous portions. Cute little place in a lovely location. Can’t wait to go back for some more fries!!

I was contemplating having ice cream in our Merrickville visit but decided to try the chip Witch instead. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience here. The weather was great, it was peaceful, the chicken burger was super crispy on the outside and tender inside without being dry. Bun was lightly toasted. And dogs are welcome which was very convenient as I had a dog with me!? We'll definitely go again!

Nice little chip wagon on the edge of Merrickville. Fries were nice and crispy even in my (rather generous) portion of poutine. My partner got a regular fries and we were both pleased with our serving size and the quality of the food.The Chip Witch herself was friendly and only gently corrected my English mispronunciation of "poutine".Would recommend.

The fries were home cut and good, hamburger was good but meat and bun a bit dry. I thought it was somewhat pricey at $25.00 for 2 small fry, one cheeseburger and one pop.
