A&W has always been my favorite place for hamburgers. Their burgers are better, by far, than the Clown or the Crown. Unfortunately, after our experience last night in the Midland A&W, we won't be back. They got our order wrong, and I had to go back to the counter twice. The place was dirty, and they had loud, obnoxious, thumping, dance music playing over the speakers. It was loud enough that it was giving me a headache, and we could hardly hear each other speaking across the table. I asked if the music could be turned down, and the kid behind the counter just kind of shrugged and said he would see what he could do. It didn't get any quieter.Even though we said we were eating in, they gave us our drinks in take-out cups, instead of the frosted mugs.Also, on several occasions, I have used their drive through, and they are ridiculously slow.I think I will have to find another place to eat.

I have been to this location many times without issues, however this evening I didn't have a great experience. At the drive thru I was given two bacon hamburgers rather than Beyond Meat burgers so I called and they said to come back and they would sort it. They were very apologetic and it was not problem for me at all, although slightly annoying to have to drive 10 minutes back across town again and back. I told then it wasn't a problem, I just wanted to let them know so they could get two more burgers ready. When I arrived I asked if they would give me another order of the fries since mine were now at home getting cold and wouldn't be very nice to have with my burger. They would not budge on that. I was not offered so much as a coupon for my trouble. The corrected burgers were fine when we ate them but I was very disappointed in the customer service in the end. Especially considering that I was very pleasant about having to go all the way back to get it sorted. Had I brought my cold fries back along with the burgers they only would have been tossed in the garbage, and fries are not an expensive food so they could have easily given me a nice hot, fresh serving of them. After all, I had spent $38 for 2 burgers 2 fries and a drink. I don't eat fast food that often but when we have had any delay in the drive thru or a mixup with an order at McDonald's (or just about anywhere else) this would have been rectified by offering a coupon or additional item as an apology. Things happen, and I understand that. It's what a business does about it afterwards that really makes either a positive difference or leaves a sour taste. Sadly this time it was the latter.

Pretty disappointing when you’re sitting in the Drive Thru for 20 minutes, and only two cars in front of you. Also, waited another 10 at the window. To top it off the female staff member was completely rude. I wouldn’t have left a review if the staff had at least been friendly, I get things happen but no excuse for poor customer service and bad attitude.

This place is a shadow of what it was only a couple of years ago - which was a far cry from what it used to be back in the day as it is. Also my son found a hair in his Burger. They always forget part of the order. Bad service. They give out stale wraps.
I don’t like giving bad reviews but it’s tough when you’re waiting in the drive thru for 20 minutes when there’s only you and another car. I’m sure they are short staffed, I get it, but holy smokes. Not sure if it’s a new owner or not, but if it’s a new owner I know the old one and she kept that place spotless and she always had her staff focused on keeping the customers happy.

The staff is very rude. I am a regular customer in the morning and they they don't open the door even after 7 :00 A.M. 6:00 A.M is their opening time and whenever I go, they always prefer drive through customers first.

All around 3/5. You can get a good burger here, you just have to hope that the person making the burger doesn't get the spicy habanero sauce mixed up with the regular sauce. Person behind the counter missed putting one order of fries in the bag, no biggie... Walk in to get the fries and the guy behind the counter is wearing blue Hollister sweatpants. Not very uniform like. But as well, no manager or supervisor in sight and he was doing as best as he could so I give him that. He even finished up his orders at drive through and cleared out the two cups someone left on the table. Could use some work but at the same time there are some issues that could be resolved.I mean, how hard is it to make a dang momma burger?
