Millbrook isn’t big, which makes it even more impressive that a place like the Peddler can survive. Be aware that it’s a small place and won’t feel like other big restaurants. But for what it is, it is very good. (Wagyu steak and black garlic creamed potatoes were excellent).”

“We went to Lakeview to see what it was like as we usually go to Rhinos next door it was such a lovely experience in every way. The food was reasonably priced, delicious and made with love. Anita was an absolute joy and the atmosphere was lovely. Very nice and can't wait to go back for the butter chicken which is served after 4pm. So lovely to see a family business run so well and they obviously love what they do.”

“My aunt‘s favourite restaurant before she passed was Red Lobster. Our family decided to get together in her memory at one of our homes, and we asked Amir, manager of Peterborough Red Lobster if it was possible to have it catered. He enthusiastically jumped in, made suggestions. He actually organized the entire menu. 30 people gathered. The food arrived and it was magnificent. Such a variety. I am pretty sure it was almost everything from their menu and more!!! There was something for every guest to enjoy and they did. If anyone is thinking of hosting such an event, I would strongly recommend recommending contacting Amir and he had his kitchen crew will impress. Thank you, Amir and your staff.”

“This review reflects my opinion of the restaurant as a place to get a quick take-out pizza. I'm actually not happy with this Boston Pizza for messing up my order, but I appreciate the attempts to make it right well enough to recommend the place. The employees tried their best, and they were busy. $33 for a medium pepperoni pizza, though..? It was good pizza, sure, but not really worth it for quick take-out. I think you have to get a table and dine-in to fully appreciate the price.”

The portions are *very* generous - a Small is one very generous scoop. After a long hike, it was great, if you’re looking for a dessert-size portion, the Baby size is probably more appropriate.”

“Bobcaygeon Brewing Co. is a great place to stop for a pint, with excellent value and a fun atmosphere. Their pricing is extremely competitive—during the week they have great deals, and the weekend we visited, all pints were only five dollars! For craft beer, that’s hard to beat.
The selection of beers is also impressive. There’s a wide variety to choose from, so whether you like something light and refreshing or more bold and hoppy, you’ll find something you enjoy. Everything we tried was fresh and well-made, and it made it easy to sample a few different styles.
Inside, the space is lively and welcoming, with plenty to do while you enjoy your drinks. From family-friendly games to shuffleboard, there’s a lot to keep everyone entertained. The only thing that could make it even better would be a patio, but it’s still a great setup as is.
Service was another highlight. Hannah was our bartender and she was wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to make us feel at home.
Overall, Bobcaygeon Brewing Co. is well worth a visit: great beer, great prices, and great service.”
