Ako makes the best shawarma I’ve ever had. Been coming for 15 years and would recommend to anyone. Do yourself a favour and eat here if you haven’t before - you won’t be disappointed. 10/10.

The food here is hands down the best Greek food in Milton, and that’s why I keep coming back. The quality and flavor are amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves great food. However, I had an experience today that really left me disappointed. I ordered one souvlaki dinner, but when I went to pay, there were two on the bill. I politely said I only needed one, and instead of simply fixing the mistake, the staff member insisted (in a rude tone) that I had asked for two. I work in food service myself, so I understand mistakes happen — especially when things get busy. I even understand that an extra plate can feel like a loss for a small business, and honestly, if he had asked me nicely to pay for the second one, I probably would have because I respect local businesses. But the way it was handled — blaming me and implying that I was wrong, when I know what I said — really put me off. He was on the phone with an AirPod in during the interaction, which makes me think he might have been distracted. It could have been solved with a simple “No problem, I’ll fix that” instead of making the customer feel at fault. Great food, but I hope the customer service can match the quality of the meals in the future.

Ako Greek in Milton is hands-down one of our go-to spots for fresh, flavour-packed meals. The chicken souvlaki platter is incredible — the chicken is perfectly charred and juicy, grilled to perfection. The rice and potatoes are so flavourful, you can tell it’s made with care.
We’ve also tried the chicken shawarma wrap, and it’s just as delicious — tender chicken with amazing seasoning. Portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh and homemade.
Next time, I’m looking forward to trying the falafel platter. Highly recommend Ako for anyone craving authentic, satisfying Greek flavours in Milton.
