Very expensive bakery and each pastry is so tiny and tastes just okay. I’d much rather go to longos or Fortinos and get the best tasting baked goods for an affordable price. This place is too much hype for no reason. This isn’t for me! Never again.

I been coming to this bakery for a long time. I find products I can’t find anywhere else, and usually they are very well stocked.
I used to buy bakery and the hot food but the last couple of times my husband and I have been very disappointed. Place is pricey and because of that we expect better quality, but last time the chicken parmigiana was so thin and dry, and the pasta was so hard and missing flavour that we decided that was the last time we buy prepared food from there. Baked goods sometimes don’t feel fresh.
Pastries are good, and the people working there are usually very nice.

I love La Rose Bakery, the quality of the food, pastries, and cakes are fantastic! My wife and I recently ordered a small cake for a gender reveal, we loved our cake. La Rose did a fantastic job!

The hot food table has a nice selection and the food is delicious! Portions are a good size. Sometimes I come here only for the hot food table. I miss some of the bakeries with hot food tables that visited in Hamilton when I lived there and this is the closest thing.

A suggestion for management would be to offer lunch combos for the hot food section. A few lunch combos that includes 2-4 items with decent portions and prices that range between $10 to $20 would be more affordable and ideal.

My only complaint about La Rose is the prices on almost everything. La Rose is on the more expensive side, however most items are imported or made in-house and are of higher quality. Even though La Rose is on the more expensive side, the quality of their products is really good! I would give them a 5 star if they are able to bring down some of the prices.

I will always recommend La Rose and will be a returning customer because of the high quality that they offer. Excellent quality products, great service and friendly staff!
