La Rose is the most amazing and unique bakery with great quality products. I ordered my husband’s bday cakes, got some cheesecakes and a grape juice sparkling water and all of that made my picnic bday celebration memorable and fun.

Honestly, I am beyond grateful for the service at La Rose today. We have gone to La Rose for many years for there specialty food items and to purchase cakes/baked goods for special occasions.

My daughter just celebrated her birthday and unfortunately the cake she likes is no longer avaliable to purchase without a specialty order, so I was left to find a cake she wanted at another local bakery which turned out to be a disaster.
I felt so bad I took her to La Rose today to pick out a cupcake from the bakery. When the team at La Rose heard what had happened, they immediately stepped in with such kindness and compassion they accommodated us and even gave my daughter a free cupcake. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly turned a disappointing situation into a special one.

Their kindness, generosity, and customer service meant so much to us, and it’s just one more reason why we’ve continued to support La Rose over the years. Thank you again to the wonderful team for going above and beyond it was so appreciated.

Today I said goodbye to La Rose in Milton after being a loyal courteous customer for 3 decades.
The reason: I was humiliated in front of many other customers this morning.
I bought 6x pizza dough, bread and delicious fresh buns and wanted to get a dozen samosas and a dozen sausage rolls.
I stood in the line to wait and in front of me is a young man and infront of him a woman & man who were busy having a conversation while the woman was waiting for her order. The young man showed me to go ahead of him and then the woman & man also sidestep so that I could go ahead. I walked over to the opposite side of the counter to place my order. I waited, and noticed that another customer who came after me being served, and then another one. I kept quiet. Finally when the lady behind the counter asked who is next, I answered me. She then told me very rude, I have to go and stand in the back of the line. I explained to her how long I have been standing there and that I know everyone has to wait in line which I was doing. I then just turned away very embarrassed.
I will now take my company and family's business to Burlington or Oakville.
To think that being rude to customers is now the new norm. This is really sad.

Consistently good quality food. I especially love the bakery. The Portuguese tarts are the best I've ever tasted. A little bit expensive, but absolutely worth it for the value you get.

It’s nice enough if you’re in a rush and need something quick in the area but I find it EXTREMELY overpriced. A cupcake is $4.5-$7 and small box of soup is almost $11. Loaf of bread would also cost 2x regular prices. Prices are exorbitant and staff is mostly high school kids who aren’t the best at recommending things or suggesting products. Tiny store and some people love it but this was my experience.

I bought the best selling pistachio cake on 2nd Jun for $60 and it was too dry to eat. We didn't like the taste either. Kids didn't even finish 1 bite.
