Scooters Catering and Event Services

We have used Scooter to cater our parties twice prior to my wife’s 40th birthday fiasco on July 19th, 2025 - once for my 50th back in June 2023 and again for a celebration of life for my wife’s father last year.
Each time we got the Greek souvlaki package with the meat and cheese tray platter additions and the baclava desert platters which are additions to the package.
My 50th and the Celebration of Life went pretty smooth - but this last party, my wife’s 40th was obviously double booked and what transpired is a reflection of this.
We reserved him back in February - so ample time to prepare… on the day of the party we received an email at 1:15 stating that the meat and cheese platters (which were basically just cubed cheddar cheese and a couple packs of Costco assorted meat thrown in) was going to be late - it was a 2PM start… turns out they weren’t too late and this wasn’t really an issue.
The issue was that Scooter has a corporate event going on doors down the street from us at Andrew’s Scenic Acres and was an hour late showing up to serve the souvlaki - which after taking a survey from most of the people that were at the party - didn’t even feed 70 people. Now he’ll say that each person is allotted 1.7 sticks - but I didn’t see any sticks that held .7 worth of meat - so any caterer worth their salt should be rounding up to 2 sticks per guest - this still wasn’t the case - ALOT of people went hungry at this event - not to mention that AFTER arriving an hour late he asked 2 strangers not the people paying his bill, when he should start serving…. The 2 strangers were 2 friends who decided they would help by throwing on some speducci I had in the freezer to tide the guests over until he was there and set up…
To add insult to injury - not only were their not enough souvlaki to go around - the rice and potatoes were dry and there wasn’t even close to enough tzatziki to go around… can you imagine running out of tzatziki on an already short souvlaki dinner ???
There was enough baclava to feed - well I don’t know how many people got baclava - it was gone well before I saw any deserts - so I can’t actually say they were short but if he wasn’t - then I mean they had to eat something right ?
He forgot the pop and water/refreshments - so we had to run to the store to buy additional cases of water and then afterwards left his garbage wrapped up in plastic on our lawn which the raccoons got into and left a huge mess all over.

It was a complete disaster.

And then we go back to Scooter requesting $1000 off the $3500 bill for obvious reasons and he offers us the taxes - like he’s claiming this disaster anyway…. My wife talked me into $750 less which is basically the taxes plus $250 - she’s my wife so I caved - but shame on you Scooter - your corporate event destroyed her 40th birthday party and she still stood up for you - I made her promise we would never use you again though.

So hope you and your ridiculous impending reply got what you wanted out of this…

You will never get another job from us or anyone who asks us if we know a good cater - because we don’t.

I've been receiving so many compliments about how cool it was to have a barbecue trailer on site and how amazing the food was.
To say that everything was on point would be an understatement.
They arrived on time with great care so as not to disturb the ceremony and kept to their itinerary to ensure a smooth running dinner.

10/10 would recommend and hire again if given the opportunity.

We invited Scooter's for a recruitment event in Milton and the breakfast spread was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS! We were all very happy with their service and would love to continue ordering from them for future events.

No idea about the food or service since Scott never replied back from and email sent in the first week of June, a phone call same week in which he answered and asked me to call back the next week. Called 2 more times the following week Wednesday and Friday both days left a message and still no response. No phone call, no return email. Very disappointing the lack of communication to potential customers ? Wish you would have at least responded back even if you were not able to accommodate my request.

Scott and his team saved me this weekend. I had made a reservation with Mosaic Rentals for this weekend and they completely ghosted us. We had a rental confirmation number in hand. We had spent all week trying to get in touch with Mosaic by both email and phone to confirm delivery with absolutely no response. I contacted Scott at Scooters and Epic Party Rentals and they provided me with instant chairs and tables on the fly. They didn’t even require a deposit. So grateful for these guys. Thanks again Scott and Team.

Christmas Dinner delivered. Unfortunately Scott...dinner delivered Dec. 24th at about 12:30 pm. Mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, veggies and gravy were perfect. When I opened the container the turkey was "pink" not safely cooked and the dressing after heating was mushy bread...no onion, celery or any other taste to it. So disappointed. I took the turkey out of the container and wrapped in foil to heat to cooked! The dressing was totally disappointing and reheating it gave it no taste... I heard wonderful reviews but this year obviously something went wrong. The turkey would have been dangerously undercooked if I had not looked and realized it was not cooked when delivered. Such a shame because basically the mashed potatoes and veggies were fine. Disappointing.

We could not have been more happy with everything from Scott and his crew for my daughters wedding..Every guest was well fed and complimented on everything..chicken and ribs, maple baked beans..awesome..thank you thank you thank you..would recommand Scooters to everyone..Scott and team you rock?

Best Catering in Milton and this is by far. Scott is a leader in the community and a leader at catering. I highly suggest using him.

We had our wedding catered by Scooters / Scott and his team. We had several dinners (rehearsal dinner) leading up, wedding of 225+ in a tent, and had them back for the morning after on 2 hours of sleep for brunch.They knocked it out of the park!The food was fantastic and that was just the beginning. We had a lot of moving parts (bar and hired drivers), and Scott made sure that we were in good hands on our wedding night. Case in point, we had a small thing come up, and it was totally not Scooter's issue, but he put his team on it to fix it, which allowed us to continue to enjoy our special day. A perfect example of going above and beyond, and great client service.
