Chef Adel is a culinary genius! I have never had an authentic feteer in all my years in North America until now. Adel even one ups many of my favorite places back in Cairo - A fresh symphony of high quality ingredients in soft, buttery, AND crispy feteer (Egyptian pie). I flew in from NYC and we immediately drove like 45 mins straight to this place. It was so good that we're gonna make a tradition of it.I'm no expert in Egyptian food but my Egyptian friend said this was the real deal. Even if you don't have an Egyptian friend with you, the staff is sooo friendly and they are so happy to help you order if you need help picking something. What a beautiful and wonderful first visit to Adel’s fatatre! Adel and the young man at the cash were delightful and made it feel like we were back at home in Egypt. It’s a small shop but it has so much to offer. The service is fast but it doesn’t take away from the quality. We had a great time getting to know Adel while he worked and we can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you for giving us a quick trip back home to Egypt through this visit ??
