I had heard many good things about Blue Danube so I was excited to buy some items from them. I must say I was totally disappointed and will not be going back. Their Hurka and Pogacsa were the worst that I've ever had.The Pogacsa had no lamination (layers). You could tell that the dough was bulked out with added milk/water.As for their Hurka, both types, Liver & Blood were horrible. The Liver Hurka was 99% Rice and had no flavour. The Liver pieces were far and few between and were rock hard.The Blood Hurka wasn't any better. Where's the Blood? As well, what ever type of meat was inside was rock hard as well.Sadly, I bought 4 rings of each!!

I highly recommend the schnitzel and sauerkraut from the hot food counter. Their sausages and meat selection is unmatched! The workers are very helpful and they do a great job in keeping everything stocked and clean.

Took a 2 hour road trip with my nephew to load up on some quality Hungarian food. Everything was excellent. Roasted bacon, sausage, crepes and deserts were all mouth-watering. We decided to also get lunch and I can't say enough about that. The meat was piled on thick, tasted so delicious and the price was cheap. I mean it was a steal by any standard. I couldn't eat the whole sandwich in one sitting. These places are rare that have old school quality at old school prices. The unbelievably friendly service was just icing on the cake. Thank you so much.

As a child my father would always bring home spicy chabai sausage. As an adult I could never find a place that made chabai sausage until I found Blue Danube Sausage huse. I am so happy as their chabai spicy sausage is the same as I grew up with and they are so awesome to eat. Now I am passing thistradition to my family. Staff is always friendly and helpful, food and products are they best in town. If you want the Best Hungarian/European foods the Blue Danbe Sausage House is your place to go! 10/10 Love it.

Excellant european store/deli/sandwich counter. Great selection of products you dont normally see in regular grocery stores. The deserts are spectacular. Truly reminds you of the deserts from past European Travels. I had the pork Schnitzel sandwich and it was delicious, perfectly fried and portions for the price are impressive. Staff is friendly. Definitely going to shop here again and stop in for lunch. Highly recommend this store.
