We travel all the way from Rochester NY in the United States a three hour drive to get these Banh Mi for $4 ca each. They sell out sometimes, so we order ahead but they have other authentic Vietnamese treats there. My family has been going there for years, wonderful hardworking people. The Banh Mi is best toasted and eaten at home as a snack.
Best banh mi I've had! Better than the one beside it. Had both back to back to compare and the pate and bread are much better here. It's also bigger and only 50 cents more. $4 is a great deal!
Banh Mi here is very tasty but the bread is a hit or miss. Sometimes it’s crisp and soft and other times it’s definitely more than a day old hard as rock. If it’s crisp and soft it’s a 5/5 but when it’s hard as a rock it’s not enjoyable as much and the crumbs get everywhere. But for $4 assorted meat spicy version is still a steal of a deal.
