Been customer at this store for at least 20 years. Always satisfied..but last week bought 2 kg of veal schnicels.. over $80..the meat looked good and fresh but was terribly disdapointed as our Christmas dinner didn't turn out the way it should.. this meat was sooo hard you could not chew at all..
I would suggest that they verify who their supplier is and what quality they buy.
I dropped by to pick up a Christmas Eve luncheon for Mrs Claus and the Elves. They could not be more excited , the Brandt team went above and beyond, you are all on the NICE list to be sure!

German food is always the best.
The schnitzel here is to die for, and the German potato salad is just as memorable. I visited during the holiday season two years ago with my German friends, and the experience still stays with me. Now that I’m back in Toronto after 2 years, when I visited this week, those memories came rushing back. The deli cuts were excellent, and even though the place was extremely crowded, the staff were friendly and welcoming.
What I still remember most is a young Indian lady at the snacks section where her kindness and constant smile while taking our order truly stood out. It’s rare to come across service that leaves such a lasting impression. Great food, warm people, and a place I’d happily return to when I'm around.

I've been looking for German supermarkets in Canada for a while, & I went to Germany in September, & on my trip I had really great food while abroad. German cuisine is the best!
If your looking for products/meats/deli or anything from Germany/Central/Western Europe, this is the place! First time today coming to Brandts came all the way from Vaughan it was worth the drive!
Bought lots of products from Germany & also tried their Hungarian Goulash soup & it was delicious! I am definitely coming back next time, & I absolutely love this place!
