Had a very kind server who informed me food might take a bit longer since they are all made to order. She was kind and nearly packed all the buffers for me to go. Everything was piping hot and tasted great! Way better than the other restaurants in the airport.
Women server intentionally hit twice on chair . Then with hands made gesture . Also other male server loud and insulting .Disgrace and super disrespectful. Then I took order and sat on table she came again n made hand gesture to me in front of other customers again . Informed with respect u had made twice hand gesture and hit chair twice as well. She said ur chair was popping out which actually wasn’t as she wanted me to leave chair . Worse ever service experienced in hospitality industry Sandra needs to learn manners n not bully customers .Also super rude .😭

Chicken schnitzel and French connection. The chicken schnitzel was cooked nicely with a slight crunch, but it was flavorless. My burger basically tasted like bread with lemon aoli. The French connection had a dry beef patty that was also flavorless. It doesn't take a genius to season your food, though I am aware that some cultures shy away from it. This place heavily relies on what ever sauce comes with the dish and/or ketchup. No thanks.

The staff were friendly, and the food came out quickly, which was appreciated. However, the quality of the food does not really match the price since it is on the expensive side for what you get. It feels like they do not make much effort to improve because there are not many dining options in this part of the airport. If your flight departs from gates F84 to F99, this is pretty much the only choice for a proper meal, which makes the situation a bit disappointing.

No one ever likes airport food, right? Well... I ordered their sausage breakfast sandwich to go and it was amazing! Their Chipotle mayo or whatever it is, was so perfect in this combo. It made for a gooey, delicious meal. The bread was like an English muffin meets toast meets burger bun and while the sausage could have been a tad thicker, it was flavorful. The eggs were fluffy and folded over on itself in a way that made this thing giant. They were out of tots, but the fries were crispy and crunchy. Oh, and I asked how long it'd be to make, they checked with the chef (rather than just coming up with some random time) and it was done in 5 min, just like they said it would be. Impressive! Pro tip: grab some jelly from the tables and add it to a fry and then onto your bite... Heavenly. I'll be thinking about this for a while!

When I said something about it the manager gave me an evil eye like I was trying to get a discount WHICH I DID NOT AND DIDN'T ASK FOR ONE. I definitely won't ever go back here and posting this to inform everyone else that you will pay 21.00 for a cold non tasty hamburger that was pre-made hours ago and served cold.

Stopped by The Burger Federation with friends before our flight. I ended up trying a few things off their plates.
🧆 Food: I had the fries with the Federation sauce, which were solid and flavorful, a definite highlight. The poutine was just okay — tasty but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it’s good for a quick bite near the airport without expecting anything too fancy.
👥 Service: Our waitress was very nice and attentive, juggling multiple tables efficiently. Even with a busy shift, she stayed friendly and kept things moving smoothly.
🎨 Aesthetic: The restaurant has standard bar and table seating, fitting the typical airport eatery style. It’s functional and convenient, though not particularly remarkable in design.

I had both lunch and dinner at Burger Federation while waiting for my delayed United Airlines flight, and it was a great experience both times.
For lunch, I tried the Atlantic Fish Fry Sandwich with fries — crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. Later in the evening, I went back for the boneless wings with sweet potato fries, which were delicious and cooked perfectly.
The drinks were just as impressive: the cucumber mint lemonade was super refreshing, and “The Departure” (made with Lot No. 40 whiskey, lemon juice, Canada Dry ginger ale, and mint) was well-balanced and really hit the spot.
Service was excellent — my server, Daniel, was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience smooth despite the busy airport environment.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re flying out of Toronto Pearson near Gate F98. Great food, great drinks, and great service!
