My dad has been taking me here since I was 6 months old, I am now 20 and we are still coming back. Best burger ever, fries are awesome and some extravagant poutine. Haven’t been disappointed once! The workers are also the best. Highly recommend.

If your looking for an old school 80s style burger, you can't go wrong here. I would avoid the onion rings as the batter is a super thick bread like soft dough and needs a revamp. Old school vibe.

Great burgers and fries. Has been this good since I remember many years ago, the quality hasn’t changed.Burger is fresh, fresh toppings, and the fries taste like they are freshly cut.Still one of the old school best burger joints!

I really do not understand all the good reviews here. I actually visited here today for the first time simply because it had all these great reviews. If I could rate it zero stars, I would. The atmosphere was zero, don't let me get into that. The food was gross! The fries tasted like they were fried with oil that hasn't been changed in 10 years. The burger was awful! The buns are thick and taste like regular bread. They're not soft and fluffy like burger buns should be. I had a taste of the fries and 1 bite of the burger and knew I couldn't consume that. I just tossed everything into the garbage and went somewhere else to get good food.I only wanted to try something new, that's why I went here. Y'all need to be honest with your reviews. McDonald's tastes better than this!

Had the Banquet burger and fries. The burger was excellent but I think the fries could have been a bit crisper. They were still awesome but I prefer them a bit more crispy.

This rating is primarily on quality of the food I ordered. Does not cover service or cleaniness.Food:-Homeburger (passed on cheese and bacon) with its half-inch thick patty wasn't terrible, yet wasn't memorable. There was a moderate amount of char on the patty, which may be up your alley.-Toppings were of basic burger toppings, which while is traditional of home-style burgers, it would be nice to have more choices (not a factor into the rating). The vegetable toppings were fresh though! (a plus for quality).-Onion rings were thick-cut, and the batter was dense enough to taste like bread.-Condiments/spices outside of what they use to construct your burger were ketchup, salt, black pepper, vinegar and malt vinegar.Service:Staff were very friendly. Had no bad experience with them. (Not a factor of the rating), but you decide whether this matters to you.Atmosphere:The unit had ample amount of space for seating, with an old-fashioned diner arrangement of tables and bench seats. Not a place I'd call fancy, but it is well-kept and clean.Menus are of the old-fashioned nature of big pictures and prices. Simple menu for those who don't like having too many options.Final thoughts:While C & Dubbs is known for their Sumo burger, I don't have an appetite to consume a multi-patty burger. Their hamburger price is pretty good for a non-franchise price.
