popped in for drinks & an afternoon snack. waitress was super polite & nice. overall customer service was top notch. taiwanese sausages & yam fries tasted delicious. the brick toast was on the house due to it being Chinese New Year's eve. this was unexpected & a really nice gesture. drinks (hot iron goddess milk tea & hot ginger tea - not pictured) were not overly sweet. everything was great.
Today I go this place with my family at about 7pm. When we arrived, the server told me they almost close. Then I ask her what time they close because actually I know they close at 8:30pm. I drive about 30 mins to this restaurant from Oakville, that's why I had check what time they close before I go. She told me they close at 8:30pm. Also almost 3 table of customers are still eating there. So I said there is still 1.5 hour before they close. We have enough time to finish our dinner and leave before 8:30pm. Then she told me their kitchen don't have enough food to serve us. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Then we left.I WILL NEVER COME THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN!
We were the only customers for a weekend dinner at the time we went, but I wish more people knew about the place because I really liked my experience. The restaurant was super clean, and the server was attentive and accommodating. She was also apologetic because she misunderstood my dietary preferences and genuinely did her best to compensate. The food was delicious. I ordered the crispy chicken (light and crispy, indeed) with rice combo and hot black milk tea—I loved the pairing. They haven’t gone back to using plates and metal utensils, and everything was still in takeout containers, but I appreciated the extra precautions they took. A part of me is hoping to have the complete dine-in experience, soon, and drink coffee or tea out of a mug, just because. Overall, I will give this five stars for taste and customer service. I am happy there is a Taiwanese restaurant in the area, and I will come back again to try their other dishes.
Really like their pork cutlets with rice. Beef noodles soup is also not bad. Drinks there is also good. People work there is very nice. If you want to try some Taiwanese dish and cuisines, I strongly recommend this place.
I would give 0 stars if I can. I walked in at 730pm intending to sit down for dinner on a Sunday night. To be more specific, parking is not free outside of this restaurant. We paid for parking, went inside asked for a table. A waitress shows up responding in confusion saying huh? We're almost sold out of food tonight. I was even more confused... Isn't 730pm quite a common time for dinner?!? What do u mean ure out of food???? Not to mention inside didn't seem busy either.. Absolutely outrageous... Not only there was no customer service, did not apologize.. there were no sign or anything outside the restaurant to indicate they're out of food or closed whatsoever. AND it says they close at 9pm... Clearly I'm not the only one that has experienced this.
This place is very underrated. Nice ambience great drinks, and exceptional service. Our server Charles went above and beyond and helped us with our drink and snack order. His recommendations were perfect because everything we got was delicious! We got the Taiwanese crispy chicken, a taro bubble tea and iced peach green tea with with mango jelly.Great place to study and snack! Definitely coming back.
A cute spot with great service (shout out to Charles!). My family came here for lunch on a Sunday. There was one other family dining in when we arrived. We picked a private spot with a square table and sofa seating on two sides. My kids ordered the kids meal (sausage and minced pork with rice and corn, fried chicken with yam fries) which came with your choice if yogurt (you can pick any fruit flavour and my kids picked guava). My son ate all the sausages and even tried the tea-infused hard boiled egg, these are both staple Taiwanese food. my daughter's yam fries were super crispy and light, not bogged down by being too greasy. My hubby ordered the crispy chicken with noodle, he asked for less soup as he doesn't like noodle soup. The crispy chicken came with a delicious and sweet thousand island-coloured sauce. I ordered the spicy mala dried shaved noodle with fried pork chop, the soup was served on the side. I found this dish on the spicy side, the noodle was perfect (not too mushy, not over cooked), the soup complimented the noodles well, but the star was the fried boneless slab of pork chop. The batter for the chicken pieces and the pork chop was the same - very light, a tab on the salty side, without the meat being too dry.The location is conveniently located across from Square One at the base of the condo, plus there was free parking underground. Charles was tentative to our needs and even refilled my kids' yogurt kids! My kids are already asking when we'll be going back, it's that good! Support your local businesses and I look forward to coming back to this location in the near future.
I'm so glad to have ta Taiwanese restaurant operated by Taiwanese in Mississauga. For anyone who is homesick or just want Taiwanese food. I highly recommend this place. Their lunch value meal are great and kids meal are great options especially after kids finish their activities at nearby community centre. This place is the first I noticed they try to use more biodegradable containers and straws. The only thing I wish is the kitchen music and eating area music can be more carefully chosen. Sometimes there are explicit music playing. I'm also glad they bounce back from the pre-pandemic quality of food (it was pretty bad when indoor dining wasn't available but it is all good now).
We were there for lunch on a Wednesday as I found this outlet newly opened in Mississauga. When we were there, the restaurant was empty. I meant we were the only table in the restaurant. The restaurant has a QR code on table for ordering. Once we placed and paid the order, it went directly to the service. Since we were the only customer, the food was ready fast. I was kind of disappointed with the food quality. My order of Tomato Braised Beef with rice had no Tomato taste at all, not even mention of a single piece of Tomato. The beef was too lean and there were only 6 little pieces of beef. The deep fried chicken cutlets and pork chop were better in term of food portion. Deep fried chicken and pork chop in general tasted better as they were freshly prepared. We also ordered Brick Toast but honestly I regretted. The bread was believed to be not fresh enough that the toast was dry and hard except the topping. We could only eat the top but not the base and sides. This is absolutely not a good experience as they were more pricy but with pretty low quality in delivery. I think there is nothing attractive for next visit. I do not recommend.
A cute little Taiwanese cafe serving up some delicious Taiwanese meals and drinks!I got the Fried Chicken and Noodle Soup and it was delicious, My husband got the Spicy Mala Beef Noodle Soup and he wasn't a fan of his as it didn't have enough of the mala spice for him. Overall, I thought it was a delicious place with great service. Very clean and bright as wel

Really good food and quick service. Right now, because of covid, you have to scan a QR code to order and pay at your table. The server then brings your order to your table.
The bubble tea is good. Customer service is standard for a bubble tea place. The problem is they are randomly closed before their stated closing at 9pm
We ordered some lunch boxes, chicken, and tea, it was pretty good and the choices are neat.
Great tasting food, very authentic, something you’d taste right out of raohe or shilin night market. Portions were pathetic though.Ordered the 2 snack portion for 10+ dollars, and for that I got a serving so small a Taiwanese would throw it straight into the 垃圾车 and ask for a refund. I’ll come here again if I’m not that hungry and feel like I have cash to waste
House Tea was good. Good service. Can't wait till pandemic is over so can sit in and try their food.
