The Oaxaca Bowl comes with a dairy based dressing but it can be replaced by a few that are dairy and egg free (our fav is Thai spicy peanut butter). This time around the quantity was good, sometimes the quantity is way less.

Here's my gripe, this place is only worth it for a salad essentially or if you're vegetarian.
Added in chicken and steak. Get a tiny portion for what you pay for and it's that rubbery ready made chicken and steak you get pre made at grocery stores.
Leaves a sour taste in your mouth when everything else is healthy and fresh and the meat just feels like packaged meat with fillers and preservatives.

I went to the Freshii today in Erin Mills Town Centre and the staff are miserable. No matter how nice you are to them, they seem to hate their jobs so much, that it doesn’t change their demeanours. I also paid 17 dollars for a bowl and it was half full and I was given 4 tiny pieces of broccoli, 4 tiny pieces of avocado, and a scoop of black beans that Was the equivalent to about 2 tablespoons. It was an absolute rip off. This was my second time going there and the staff being unfriendly and the minimal food given for what I consider to be a lot of money is applicable to both visits.

I had a near death experience at the Freshii location at Erin Mills. I am anaphalytic allergic to Sesame seeds and any sesame products. I mentioned that to the lady at the counter and she assured me that my meal was completely sesame free. She recommended the spicy peanut sauce which I added to my meal. I verified that it was sesame free and she assured me that it was .I ended up calling 911 as I had a severe reaction and nearly collapsed. I was taken to hospital in an ambulance and was medicated for anaphylactic shock there. I was in a hospital bed for a couple of hours. When I came home I checked the list of allergens on the Freshii website and sure enough the spicy Peanut sauce has sesame seeds.When I called the Freshii location at Erin Mills The franchise owner Kamlesh was dismissive of my complaint and was belligerent with me. I could have lost my life yesterday. Allergies are serious and are life threatening! I hope that the staff is trained properly

Went here for lunch and purchased a Cobb salad with no protein/egg, the lady at cash advised that it would still be the same price- understood; however, a younger Indian guy told me if I wanted to add buffalo sauce, I should head back to the cash to pay the additional cost. Let's try to use common sense in situations like this and consider the actual value of a $17 salad in shallow bowl where I wouldn't even credit it 75% full. Now, the Smoothie! Stupidly, I ordered a freshii green. I waited over 10 minutes for this order while 2 other employees walked back and forth doing nothing, it seemed it was the responsibility of the same mentioned fellow to complete this. In the 10 minutes I chatted with 3 ladies in front who ordered smoothies as well. They sipped with their straws and all critiques the taste. When I asked for a straw this same man was adamant that they did not have them at the location. I asked again, he still denied a straw even though I watched the ladies get handed one. I called out to another employee yo ask and MAGIC! A straw appeared directly in front of where the man was standing. This location needs to work on customer service. This experience was awful for something that should have been easy and satisfying. I visit MANY other Freshiis and recommend you do the same. Please skip this one. It's just not worth it.

Unfortunately my experience here went from terrible to horrible. After consuming a smoothie product I was severely ill suffering from what appeared to be food poisoning I had numerous events of vomiting and diarrhea which lasted 3 days severely with another 3 days of milder events.
Although both the company's head office and the independent owner asked me to reach out which I did neither offered any remedy to the scenario. I was completely out of action for 3 days and had to see my Dr. I was unable to function for what was almost an entire week. I also learned from the franchisee that it is very common for them to use tap water in their beverages according to them this is acceptable at all of their locations and found no issue using it and his. I believed this chain to be one that is a healthier choice nonetheless I was absolutely incorrect their standards are well below what I believe to be normal. When I ask for some degree of compensation the offer was a very minimal and frankly insulting a gift card wouldn't be issued for a little more than the replacement of the beverage that I consumed that got me severely sick. At this point I am still waiting to hear back from either the independent franchise or their head office it looks like they are choosing to ignore me.
After many conversations with both the independent franchise owner and head office even asking me to remove this review for a gift card which of course I refused as I feel it is important to be honest. Finally they agreed to give me a small gift card after all this ordeal although they were disrespectful in many ways and ignored me the best they could. I feel that at least they admitted wrongdoing although it was a very minimal gift card in my opinion considering I lost 3 days of work and being ill for more than 7 days because of this at a time when expenses and costs of living are at an all-time high. I personally would never eat food from both this location and would think about it three times before eating at any other location as well. I used the gift card on canned beverages frankly that's the only thing I trust from them which of course they sell for an inflated price.
I think this taught me a lesson in many ways. Be very careful what you choose to ingest in your body it's no joke the amount of trust that you put into a restaurant is enormous essentially they're playing with your life if things go bad they can go very bad I was very lucky in many ways but don't expect a brand name that you feel emphasizes health to be a healthy choice or think the level of quality is better.
